But look what Bobby did - he didnt' even sing disco, he just sat there, and he got a touchdown!?!?!?

That whole disco night was a bit weird anyway, nothing really resembled true disco, because none of the idols are really in that mode.
I think a lot of people gained respect for Damien that night for taking it like a man when they were so incredibly harsh to him, and most people thought that was just not on, so disrespectful no matter which contestant it was. People were really supporting him because he had a go and gave it his best. And I think he did well considering it's nothing like his normal thing. Yes, the dancing style was certainly eccentric, but I enjoyed it and that's half the battle. At least with Damien we are never bored!!
