Yes, loved the daring white shirt too, Roxy!! Would have liked to have seen a vid of the waxing!! ;D  Josh's comments can relate to all of the dancers who are married, which have been many over the years... but I think Damien's acting skills are so good, perhaps that's why it was brought up - a compliment to Damien's talent really - he really is the triple threat... or perhaps a quadruple threat - sings beautifully, dances divinely, acts excellently and writes brilliantly!  What a talent! |

My husband wants me to tell you all that he predicted everything and wanted me to tweet it..but as I told him..I don't tweet..  but I said I'd tell you all.  I think my heart has stopped... if I don't come back..call the paramedics someone! so he's a bit clever then huh! I haven't seen you come back yet smiley  Here I am!!! Chest pains finally subsiding..I think I'm going to make it! This week anyway...can't guarantee next week though! |

Bwhahaha, I forgot about that! that totally KILLED me!! I've said it before, and I'll say it again..... THE MAN IS A COMEDIAN!! I love his sense of humour it's so infectious!   DAMIEN'S IN THE FINAL!!!!! Wow, was just jumping around the room earlier when they were announced first to be safe and into the FINAL! Just so thrilled for Damien that he's done so well in this competition he's become an amazing dancer, sometimes you cannot tell who is the pro dancer, testament to Mel's great talent as a teacher and his talent and effort as a student! Was such a stressful show tonight to see the outcome even as a viewer, lol I think I need a couple of headache tablets now and I'm only watching it on tv  Just loved the rumba, I thought the music filled the room and there was so much atmosphere within the performance, it felt like Damien really being Damien inside the character if that makes any sense, felt the same in the waltz which was so floating and lovely and lilting. Beautiful lines and expression and feeling. I think of all his dances so far the two main ones tonight were definitely in my fave top 4. Even though he has really fully gotten into it during other weeks also I think now after all these weeks he's really in the natural groove of it and more of his own self seems to project, it's like the feeling you get in the shows after all these years doing it, how his own personal touch comes through and I feel that is now coming through even more strongly in the dancing now he has become so fluent in the steps themselves. Wow would love to see him continue dancing in some way, what an amazing talent and a beautiful new form of expression for him. Gorgeous costumes for Mel and Damien (loving the low-cut open shirts! ) and also tonight I thought Sam's dresses were so lovely, specially the last one she wore, beautiful colours for her. So so so so so so happy for Damien and Mel - you so deserve this spot in the final, have a wonderful week, enjoy and we'll all be voting for you xoxoxox  ps - definitely hope Larry Emdur does go in it next year with Mel as his partner!

 I've just read the comments from tonight and think you girls are totally whacked! Love the running commentaries and the screams of indignation (totally justified, of course! ) But whatever the outcome is, Damien's achieved some wonderful goals for me: His part in this show has been so entertaining and we've marvelled at his progress each week. What an inspiration to get out and enjoy the challenges. I so hope he feels that he has fulfilled his dream to learn to dance after next next week - however he finishes.  It'll be a bonus if Damien and Mel win - I'm sure they really want to, too - but I'm just so happy they've been able to showcase their work for so long.  Well done! |

Just read all of your comments, love it all. Wish i could be with you in real time  This show makes me sick, literally  An hour after the show i still feel actual nausea  ! Not sure what lessons I am teaching my daughters as they watch me scream at the TV! Anybody had to take out a personal loan to pay their phonebill yet?? We have to believe that in the end the best dancing couple will win and that may just be Haley & Aric. I am not allowed to say anything mean so..... I LOVE MANU FEIDEL (google might not pick that up as I am not sure i spelt his name correctly) HE IS AN EXCELLENT DANCER! |

I am not ssaying that this is correct but I have read elsewhere that Manu was given the points in the Dance off because if he hadn't then Sam would have beaten him. That is why he went through ahead of Damien into the Dance off and why he won the 15 points.
I can't wait for the uploads to be able to see these dances again.
One other thing, regarding Damien's head during the dances......

well D never complains about injuries so.... Agree with so much ofwhat you're saying, but didn't sleep much last night so will be wandering off in a tick...... Loved the BTS hairdo and think it was a little stress release for them as we all know D is such a stress-head  and yes Helen he really is a great actor and I think Mel has learnt that skill as well. Just a small recap with my son as he walked out of the room after the 4 chachas, well.....it's obvious the two will be the last 2 in the dance off. Me: nope will be Haley and Manu Rubbish!! last 2 were the best...dance-off of course as predicted....DS: oh this show's a joke....he doesn't dance, his partner does Dance-off...Son: oh Haley, best by far Me: nope Manu will win (not for the dancing) because he needs the points....we all know what happened.....my son has finally decided the show is rigged. He really thought D's Waltz was absolutely beautiful as did Helen  But so proud of our dynamic duo to achieve such fantastic progress throughout the series  |

and then when he was talking to Damien some comments were okay but others just didn't seem right... anyway, FINALS NEXT WEEK!!!!
