Oh, definitely gj. Maybe someone should suggest it to him. I'm also holding out for him to do the Righteous Brothers song You've Lost that Lovin' Feelin'.

There is a song I would love to hear him do a male version of. Mary Fahl is another Irish singer who used to sing lead for October Project, who have quite a following in their own right (though they seem to have only produced 2 albums I can find, before they disbanded). Mary went solo a year or so ago, releasing her debut album "The Other Side of Time". The single from it, "Going Home" was used as the theme song in the Movie "Of Gods and Generals", and it tells the story of a soldier coming home...but equally is a lovely song for anyone who is presently suffering in some way and needs to feel there is an end in sight (I was actually sent her CD by a dear irish friend when I was having a very hard time about a year ago, so it made quite an impact). Her voice has been described as "hauntingly beautiful", and is pretty well, I think, a female version of D's...I think D could reduce us to tears again with this one..nice falsetto at the end, too.. If you have cable/faster internet, you may like to take a look at the video "Coming Home" Just enter this site, and choose "video" if you are interested. (I would suggest listening only to the music at first, I'm not that fond of the video, think it spoils the song a bit) www.maryfahl.com/

You should hear Damien sing the Robbie Williams song 'Angels'. Absolutely fabulous. "Nobody does Robbie Williams except Robbie Williams" or so spoke Kyle Sandilands [about Ricky Muscat] ... but of course Kyle clearly knows nothing about music since he said "no" to DL at the original audition. I can only imagine how well DL would outshine RW ... perhaps Noeleen Damien will sing it for us at the concerts soon....

Well maybe David, since Damien's got no Internet at home at the moment.

I would love to hear Damien sing a Gene Pitney song. Mecca, 24 Hours From Tulsa. Something like that. I think he would be great.

Wow, looks like Angels strikes a cord. Why not ask him to sing it at the concerts? It would be worth the effort, believe me.
