I can't believe it's the end of the line for me too Damien But what a truly wonderful time I have had attending three of your brilliant concerts over the past couple of weeks Star City was spectacular - I adore this venue and it will always bring back happy memories of my very first concert back in February, and now the November concert too. What a fabulous night we all had - I will never forget the look on your face when you looked down and saw us all grinning back at you, T-shirts glowing and arms waving - I thought for a minute you were going to have to stop singing in order to compose yourself And backstage you were so generous and giving with your time - and I don't think I will ever live down the "buckle polishing" incident Thanks again for being a good sport Campbelltown was a much smaller and less formal venue. For the first time I sat somewhere other than the front row, and got a completely different perspective on your show. I really enjoyed sitting with my family and just taking in your magnificent voice and watching your interaction with the fans in the audience. It was also wonderful to be able to spend a few minutes with you after the show and introduce you to the rest of my family. They were all similarly impressed with your performance that night, and even moreso with the way you treated us all backstage. I couldn't think of a better way to have spent my birthday And finally there was Wollongong. Once again in the front row, we were mesmerised by "Crying", "Hallelujah", "Danny Boy" and "Wicked Game" . We rejoiced at "Celebration" , laughed at your JT moves , and sang, swayed and clapped along to "Long Way Back", "With or Without You" and "All I Want is You" And now it is all over for the time being - but I'm sure there'll be many more concerts in the years to come. For you are a true performer Damien - you sweep your audience up and carry us along on a journey of unexplainable delights. You bare your soul and invite us into your world for a short space of time, where we forget all our problems and immerse ourselves in the magic that is Damien Leith Thank you so much for the pleasure you have given, and continue to give me, and for always making me feel special in your presence Damien - you are a STAR Love Womby xox

Thank you Damien for your music and the way it's enriched my life. That's no exaggeration, it's effect has been as grand as it sounds. My life was pretty full and happy before but it's been a lovely journey waiting with you, and supporting your success with the albums, the singles, the book... the baby (no participation there, lol), and finally the concerts. You've been such an inspiration with your creativity and tenacity as well as in expressing such healthy, wholesome life priorities. When I need a different head or heart space, your lyrics and music never fails to take me there. I love it. Damien, congratulations on a fantastic set of concerts for your wonderful album. I really wish you all the rewards you seek and deserve for all your hard work. I'm so looking forward to the next round of projects (after the WWL Christmas Ed) and can't wait for your next appearances. Nuffy proud to be a Damien Leith supporter.

Dear Damien After reading all of the above posts, I realise there isn't much that hasn't already been said but it also really moved me to see how much of an effect you have on each and every one of us. I was lucky enough to make it to 3 shows, Star City, Wollongong and Revesby. Star City was just absolutely amazing for me. Seeing you perform again and being there with so many wonderful forum members was something I will honestly never ever forget. All of us taking over the entire front row and most of the 2nd row, what an experience! You must have been slightly overwhelmed with so many of us there but you still managed to stay so composed and bring most of us to tears with your beautiful voice. I feel so lucky to have been there for that experience and I am sad to those forum members that were not able to be there...although I know they were in spirit! Wollongong which seems so long ago but was only 2 nights ago, was a huge highlight for me. Yes, the crowd was a little more quiet and took a while to warm up but being my home town and letting my hair down was just so much fun. The accoustics were incredible when you sang Wicked Game and Halleluah and I will freely admit that I was a bawling mess during Crying. You sounded stunning and to be there with people that mean the world to me was such a moving experience. I could have honestly stayed there all night and listened to ANYTHING you sang. My Mum and sister who were there, were also BLOWN AWAY but how amazing you in person. Your crowd interaction, your wonderful stories, your gorgeous little dance moves and the way you even mock yourself, makes for such a brilliant and extremely entertaining show. And lastly, Revesby, which was only yesterday. Again, a different atmosphere but I was able to sit back with 2 of my children and just absolutely enjoy every moment of your voice and your performance. It was so lovely to see your beautiful wife and your adorable little boys. What a GORGEOUS family! Madison has not stopped talking about you and says she wants to relive the entire day. She might have gone to a gooey mess when she saw you, but I know that her meeting with you meant the world to her so thank you for being so lovely to all of us. The entire experience has been amazing for me. I am so grateful to you, more than words can express and I also extremely grateful to all the fantastic forum members that I have met and befriended. I thank you from the bottom of my heart for everything! Thank you Damien and thank you Damienites. Love you all, Carla

Damien, reading this you can never doubt the respect and admiration we have for you..not only as a wonderful performer but as a generous, warm human being who makes us feel so special and appreciated as fans when we are priveleged enough to see you. The Tour is obviously hard work for you, yet even though you are tired after a gig (and probably hanging out for a beer!) you take the time to meet and greet so many people, not just us, it amazes me how you do it. Thankyou once again for sharing your incredible gift with us and your graciousness...and for bringing us together as the amazing community we have now become.

Hooley dooley, where do I start? I was blown away yesterday at Revesby. I was one of many people, in a trance admiring such a beautiful voice and wonderful performance. My mum didnt move at all, and as we walked off after the performance she was like a young teenager talking to dad all the way home all about the concert. We went to visit my Nonna, and mentioned to her that we just saw you and she said "Oh he is a good boy" LOL Damien, your voice just doesnt stop does it? Its just neverending - like there is no off button and you can just go forever and ever with all of us together appreciating every song you sing! Sad that the show had to end, but it remains with us. As I walked out, whispers and talks of 'Loved Crying', '22 steps' 'oh with or without you was great......" It was sooo nice to see everyone walk out as if floating on clouds...........LOL Thanks again for a wonderful afternoon. Keep those dancing moves going. You have a trend happening now. Perhaps next song you can add those dance movements which will better than the nutbush and macarina.........hee hee!

After Sunday I have to say a huge THANK YOU!!! to D and the team for the beautiful matinee show at Revesby. I found NJFTW especially moving with my 2 Little Ones beside me and my Little No. 3 inside. The band, the sound and, of course, Teh Voice were all really rockin'! D, you're rapport with the audience is always so geniune...thanks so much again And...of course, Star City was a blast too - as indeed have all the shows been from the reports back. Damien, as a live performer...you rock!! PS: Apologies I was rather distracted when we saw "backstage" after the Revesby show. Kids were overtired and very shy and there was a big queue of people dying to see you! Simply wanted to say CONGRATULATIONS for a great gig (tour, album, book, aria award, year...!)

Damien, thank you so much for coming to Adelaide - the concert was just fantastic and I had so much fun. My DH loved it too - I don't remember the last time I actually heard him singing prior to Thursday night . I love your ability to take us along with you when singing any kind of song - joyous and upbeat or slow and gentle. Just don't leave it too long before you come back again! (And Dymocks is down the far end of the Mall, number 135 ;D) Also thanks to the Damienites for this great community we have, but all due to a wonderful person we all admire. A special thankyou from me to gj for sharing it with me too. Kath

Well, after reading everything above here, there is very little to say except THANK YOU for being YOU. I also feel the same about everything that has been written above, you probably don't realize what you, your songs and your singing really does for people. You have had a huge impact on the lives of so many and some of those people including myself have never felt this kind of impact before, your music is beautiful, you as a person meeting fans have set the bar very high for any other celebrity and how they should behave and act. I commend you on being able to get people to come on this journey with you when you sing, and i am sure we will all be waiting for your next trip around this country, especially here in Perth. As you said last night your Roy Orbison interlude isn't over yet. Can't wait for what you will sing of his next. Have a rest and come out refreshed and ready to take us all on again next time Love to you and your family Marilyn

Damien, thank you so much for including Perth in your tour!! I think I only realised last night how gruelling the past few days have been for you, so I am so grateful that you came to Perth and put on a fantastic two shows for us!!!! To me it felt as if the concert was over in minutes, not an hour or two!! I loved every moment of the concerts (so glad I went to both), and it was amazing being so physically close to you that at times I felt like it was just you and me in the room (spit and all!!!!) I am so looking forward to you coming back to do an acoustic show in Perth in March!!! I love it when it is just you and your guitar, altho the band and you were smokin' last night - just loved the rousing rendition of "All I Want Is You" and "Beautiful" just had me soaring!!! I just wanted to close my eyes and soak it all in, but then I would have missed seeing your lovely face!!! Such a choice!!! My mum also enjoyed the concert, and was so touched that you remembered her name (she didn't believe me, I had to call in my independent witnesses!!!) When talking about it tonight, she asked me to tell you this: My dad is someone who always discourages her from voting on any television show, and had always told her that it was a waste of money and silly and not to do it! When you had been performing a few weeks on idol (perhaps it was the celebration night ), he said to her "Have you voted yet??". She was taken aback, and said "what do you mean?". And he told her, "well you have to vote for Damien", and kept reminding her every week after that!!! For once, he didn't care about the cost!! So you have had a big impact on many people!! Damien you are a Super Star to me!! ;D

Dear Damien,
Congratulations on such a successful tour!!! Also, congratulations to your brother for adding to the magic.
I just want to say a big thank you too. I was heartbroken beyond words to miss your Adelaide concert that I had waited for so long for. I was lucky that my friend rang me from the concert and I had the pleasure of listening to two of your songs via the phone (oops .. am I in trouble for that lol), and it was the best medicine in the world. I was smiling through the sooky la la tears. You sounded amazing. The recording studio must love you because you sound perfect live (well live through the phone lol) and they would have a super easy job with you being so talented. Thank you so much for signing my CD, program and book that my friend put on the stage, and I hope you got your rose from me with the note okay. You really are brilliant - such a talented musician.
I hope you get to have some very well deserved time to relax with your beautiful family now and soak up some quality time.
Thanks again and take it nice and easy,
~~Belinda xox

oh, Belinda Damien, Thank you so so much from me as well - what a time it's been! Two concerts for me, Swoon City and Central Coast, and both equally unforgettable! We had the most amazing big adventure at Swoon City - such a huge gathering of the forum all together where we could really embrace you from the front rows and cheer you on - one of the most wonderful memories for me was the big line of us all giving you a touchdown - it felt so special as a big group to be able to give you that Your performances were just amazing!! Every time I see you I think you couldn't ever sing better, and then you do!!! I don't know how you keep taking it to "11" you're really something else! What an experience to see you take the whole room with you into your performances - one moment spellbound, the next filled with laughter & enjoying banter and great rapport. The Central Coast show was just magic, such a warm atmosphere and joy in the room. The band was great, we loved seeing Darren and his eventual journey to freedom from his cage It was beautiful to see Eils at the Sydney Show and see her delight at enjoying it all as well. You're so dear to us all, it's been a wonderful tour - thank you for all your time you spent with us, the wonderful music and incredible, breathtaking singing - I know I will treasure the memories forever
