Where did Leo come from? Is that D's middle name?
We should have a thread on people's middle names. (Mine is Natsu)

Yeah, Leo is D's middle name. I think I read that on damienleith.net Natsu! I was wondering a little while ago if that was a name, because I was thinking that would be a cool name for a kid. I guess that makes sense, since it means Summer, and Summer is a name in English.

Yes, you are right, the word means Summer, but my one is spelt differently, and its meaning is something along the lines of "Buddha's teachings spread out from Nara"

I have been pondering this for a time now ... what are the nicks for these kids? ... most aussies ... usually, abbreviate ... then .... add either an 'o' or 'ie/y' .. and in some cases, an 's'

Jarvis will probably eventually end up being 'Jarvo' when he goes to school, and Jagger will end up being called 'Leith'... because boys don't like to think that hard when coming up with nicknames.

They both have ridiculously high falsettos Natsu is really nice Selestial, does it mean anything? (I can't be bothered looking it up on an online Japanese dictionary at the moment) Mine's boring, it's Ellen! But my Chinese name is Wai Jing

My theory is that it's Leo as in 'Leo the Lion' as in 'Kimba the White Lion'. Which is of course totally wrong. But I still like the theory.

You know really when you think about it, they will probably get Jarvs and Jago. That's how the Aussie people would do them I reckon..

I think Jarvo and Jags - other way around to you Oz :-)
My kids were called by a variation of our surname at school but some footy coach couldn't cope with that and they ended up with 'pidge' like a short pigeon. Sheesh!
