I feel like I'm voting for Eskimo Joe, not Damien, with the amount of votes I've had to throw their way. I suppose I really should buy their album and listen to it, since I'm voting it as best of the year.

Em - you are lucky you don't know any of those others! Hilltop Hoods is okay though. Wouldn't buy them myself from what I've seen because I'm not really into hip-hop, but there's talent there and they're Aussie, what more do you need to worry about?

Ha ha thanks ladies for voting for the Hoods. They are local Adelaide guys and my son is quite friendly with them (the hiphop scene here is very good but not that big). I really like their music and have one of their songs as my ring tone - get some interesting looks from young things when it goes off in the bus

Do we have to vote in every category for our votes to count? I've only been voting for Damien in the categories he's mentioned in.

You can do quickie votes which is what I guess you have been doing so far or you can register and do a full vote. There are 16 categories. You can't just vote for Damien in that way because you have a next and back buttons. If you register and do the full vote you are eligible for a prize. I have done both kinds of voting. I don't know more than half of the people nominated in the different categories so I think I will stick to the quickie vote from now on and just do Damien in his categories and the Hoods for the hiphop.

OK now that I hadve done multi votes again I hope that Damien thanks the Damienitesw when he wins the New Zealand title. Also I hope the Hoods thank the Damienites for all their support.

It's OK to also vote for the Hilltop Hoods Mysterri. When you open the vote page the categories to vote are Spankin New Artist (Damien), Best Male Artist (Damien) Best Hiphop Video (Hilltop Hoods) Viewers Choice Award - Australia (Damien Leith Night of My Life) Viewers Choice Award - New Zealand (Damien Leith Night Of My Life) so there are 5 votes that you can do.

;D OOOOhhhhh grt, I can vote for Damien in NZ, thanks for that......basically have been spreading the votes across the board so I haven't influenced any categories apart from the ones Damo can win, but will now put him in the NZ one too....shame about the first 230 votes tho Oh well, let's get back to it ;D

Braffy, my son is very impressed with the Damienite voting and says if he sees Suffa anytime soon he will let on that they are getting lots of votes from Damien fans ;D

Some quick calculations, taking my class for example...
5 seconds to vote, that's 12 votes a minute. 40 minutes in a class, that's 480 votes per person, per class. 27 students in the class, that's 12,960 votes per class. 3 classes a week, so 38,880 votes per week. 8 weeks to vote, so a grand total of 311,040 votes and this is only ONE class group!

However, there is the small matter of the Junior Cert....
