This is all confusing me now. I had said that I would be getting the tickets for Sydney, now there are others. What is going on? The last thing I need is to be in a bum fight with others for the same tickets and I don't want us to double up either. Not good for anyones pocket.

AMEX...not sure...have you got good seats from them before Oz?
Only I remember years ago when I wanted to get good seats to a concert a friend used her VISA priority whatsit and we ended up with crap seats!!! Didn't line up on the day (pre-internet!) and were very sorry...

Hey Braffy- the list has got so big- I think we need to check with everyone on the list in the Concert & Appearances thread that they're definitely wanting to be included in a bulk purchase so you have concrete numbers. As you say you need to know exactly who you're buying for. Then we make it clear and hopefully no-one will miss out.

Hi sj, There weren't any specifics but if you contact SonyBMG in Ireland they might be able to tell you- their website also lists upcoming gigs so you could keep an eye out for Damien on that. He's not there yet. Also you can subscribe to their newsletter www.sonybmg.ie/

I know you said you'd get them Braffy but I've always had good seats when booking through AMEX before because they get a good allocated batch for certain concerts, so I was going to try them and save you the hassle. But the BEST seats can't be guaranteed so I think I'll just leave it all in your capable hands

I've noticed lately in the presales it can be hard to get the best seats, they have just been 'seats' - I'm not sure the preferential seating services give you front row or anything anymore. Maybe a good idea for those getting the seats is to be in touch with the ticket outletes to let them know a day or so ahead how many we would like in the front if possible and if it might be better to phone them when they go onsale rather than to try for pot luck on the internet best on offer.
