Have been able to make the ninemsn thing work, but again, only for a couple of seconds, it jumps and skips out terribly. I can see I'll need broadband soon to keep up with our Idol and his wonderful pretteh

Yes, Shims - the other good thing about Rage is that they play the clip in full and do not chop the last few seconds off as Video Hits do! Or half the song if it isn't poppy enough for their tastes.

Btw I'm keeping an eye on my "3" phone - you can already download the video of NOML from "3 mobile" direct to your phone and I'm sure any moment soon the video will be available for 3 mobile customers. Will put up an alert when it is!

...Hands down, best post-Idol release ever. Kudos to Damien for recognising a good song and running with it.

Could have done without the smart-arse remarks from the DJs at the end though - although they did comment on the Beatles feel, so I forgive them a little.

From the little snippet I heard on the NOML special, I expected that it'd take me a few listens to get used to 22 Steps since it's a bit slower than some of his other songs, but I heard it on 2day FM this morning and loved it immediately! GO DAMIEN! And I didn't realise there'd be an interview as well, I was so excited when Kyle and Jackie O announced they were interviewing him. And Damien sang a bit of Grace Kelly, how cool. Ever since I bought Mika's album I've wondered what Damien would sound like singing some of his songs.
