Does anyone know if there is any kind of fan-type mailing list for newsletters or any official site talk happening yet? I'm sorry if this is posted elsewhere on the board - I've been incredibly busy and haven't had much time to look around yet. Hey, gotta make this quick..jumping on a plane! Congrazia, if you look up the top of the homepage of this forum, under the ads, there is a "news fader" banner....in that is the links to Damiens new Official site and Forum! We've all joined the Official Forum but hope to keep this place running full steam ahead too  ..but do check it out, as Damien posted there yesterday, and they gave us some very special news! Also, his official site has a news sections which seems quite up to date! Cheeers...  |

Thanks, winterlong! I registered. Re: this avatar thing, I'm getting really frustrated and also can't find a technical section here to ask questions. Do I have a vision problem?  I keep trying to use my photobucket URL to add my avatar, but the box above where the choice is either "none" or other avatars already loaded seems to be the only thing that gets through. In other words, if the "none" choice is there and I put my URL in the box underneath it, I don't get my own avatar. I get none. If I choose someone else's in that box above and plug my photobucket URL into the box underneath it I get whatever person's I chose in the box above. But that same box that already has choices or "none" doesn't allow you to type anything else in. It just seems like that browser box is the default and typing in my own URL in the box underneath doesn't take. Can someone help please? What am I missing? Thanks in advance. And if there is a place on the board you can point me where all this stuff is sitting, I'd be very happy. ETA: the avatar I'm using now is someone else's from the gallery. It won't take mine if I type it in below. |

congrazia, I couldn't get the forum to upload my av from my computer either. Choose "None" and then host your avatar on photobucket.com or flickr.com or some such site. Then post the url in the box. That should work.

Hey ... Looks like there is a HUGE chance of me going ..... yay!!! I thought it was like tomorrow n though DAMMIT and then i saw the 8th n i was like 'dad you wanna meet Damien?" And to my suprise he said "yes where and when" I told him and he goes "we'll check with your mum, she might even skip work for it!"

Though I bet Damien's expression will be PRICELESS when he sees the 20 singles LMAO. Management and security apart, I think he will be more than happy to sign them. Anyway I was wondering about the signing process (have been in signing only once)... do you know if someone who's doing a signing (not limited to Damien) will be there until EVERYONE gets their singles signed? Or will there be a time limit where not all get the chance to see Damien? I was thinking whether it would be best to line up last, hence we get more time to see Damien (in a way that he won't be rushed by the management). Do you know? |

Yes, that would be priceless, and Im sure he'd be more than happy to sign them once we tell him where they are going Ive been to 2 other signings, one for Guy and one for Shannon and both times, they did not leave until everyone who lined up got theirs signed which is really sweet! D would probly be the same .... but you can never be sure. I think going first (if we could get there to start the line) would be great because it shows we'd do pretty much anything for him lol! All we can do is ask him to sign them for us and tell him who they are for, and im sure hed give us a dear sweet smile and say 'sure why not'! And hey .... at guys instore, they got a pass to stay behind and meet him 'backstage' so there might be benefits! |

A backstage pass? Are you serious (is that for people for line up first)!? Man that would be the best thing ever.
My main concern of going first in line is that... if there is an extremely long line, I think the management want to get it over and done with (I'm pretty sure the manager will give us the evil look and may tell us to stand in line TWICE. Gaahhh). I remember going to Idol 2 Top 4 signing where the managers just told off the fans because they were holding up the line by talking to the Idols. That's why I'm thinking of going last... hey the fact that we're having many singles shipped overseas show that we are willing to do anything for his success.
