Banner, that's the term I meant, thanks Mysterri. That's a good idea to have a simple but clear index/info thread for all the released material somewhere up top and on the home page is a great idea Smiley.
I remember when i first joined I didn't know where to click and I wasn't interested in clicking an admin looking thread (so it was months before I went to this section). Neither will any new members... they'd go straight to something that's about Damien and stands out visually from everything else.

Actually! I have been working on something for awhile, (but have been rather busy of late) and will be posting it within a week or two. It is similar to what you are asking Nuffy, but a bit more involved. Stay tuned

thanks for the information Nuffy, we will see what we can do about it and about the links too mysterri, that would be a great idea if we could use links....but like you said we may not be allowed to have the links like that. Mysterri, do you mean removed from the banner list altogether? Yes I do, thanks.

Just a question re reports from concerts, seeing Penrith starts tonight.
I know this has been discussed in the past and I'm not sure if there is a way we can do it but is it at all possible to have the actual reports in a thread by themselves for ease of reading.. i.e. no replies. I realise this is difficult..and people ask questions that get answered etc but a lot is just "That sounds great" "Thanks for the report" etc which can make it very slow to read through the actual reports. Any ideas?
One thought is for reporters to post twice- once in a general thread and once in a report only thread..(just copy & paste) but this could get a bit messy...
..another is for those posting a report post it coloured so it's easily identifiable amongst responses.
Just thinking out loud here...would like to hear what others think.

Smiley, I've been thinking about this today actually. I know what you mean, and as it stands, the mods are now modifying posts to add any relevant data to the front of a thread...ie..links/photos, extra media coverage so that all matter pertaining to the subject is at the front of a thread. I can only suggest that a report is copied by a Moderator and put in the front of that thread? the problem with that though, is sometimes (most times = Teh Coma ) we add as we go along when doing a report up and remember things a few days later. This could be a big job with 27 odd concerts about to take place. (will think some more on this one) These threads might even get moved once they are finished with to the Fan Encounter sub forum, where they are read only anyway. (we are still discussing this one) as we can't really leave them in the AA section for too long, as D has other appearances coming up and we don't want to miss them. The Mods will add the upcoming Concert thread close to each event so that we don't choke that board up.

Oh gawd, please don't drop the maximum weight to below 90kb! Everyone who makes signature tags needs to be aware that they must optimize (compress) their image before posting it to any type of forum, it's netiquette to do so. Most image editing programs have an optimization feature and you can successfully optimize your images without too much loss of quality. Your image editing program will also show the size and weight of your image but if you're unsure, once you've saved it, right click on the image and from the drop-down menu click on Properties and all will be revealed.

Oz Jr, there is, well kind of, a link at the bottom. Under the board (or under quick reply if that is your setting) there is a little drop down menu called forum jump. Click on the small arrow to get the dropdown menu, and click on HOME. Tallulahbelle - I have PM'd you
