Well done Spuddy, you don't miss much do you? Neski and the mods were unanimous in adding those lyrics and I totally agree with them.

Yeah it's such a great banner and I keep scrolling up to look at that picture again, and then I suddenly noticed the text was different.
I wonder if Damien has seen that banner yet...

Oh yay, there's a Saving Kids ad on the banner now. I was going to suggest changing the lyrics to "I'll take you home, not just for the weekend" but the Saving Kids ad is a much better idea. There is a typo on the banner though.

The same banner again, but with different writing! I love it! And what a great way to promote SK!

Where's the typo Spud? I did this so quickly I've probably missed something.

Where's the typo Spud? I did this so quickly I've probably missed something. I'm thinking there shouldn't be an apostrophe in "premieres", but check that with someone else if you want to make sure.

Sorry Myst, but those sites are wrong. Verbs never use an apostrophe when there is an 's' on the end: e.g. He runs It starts Premieres is the same as starts. Apostrophes are to show possession or to replaces missing letters. From Kath the Grammar Nazi

Yes I do understand that Kath. Another scenario is " It's (it is) great that DLO has its fanbase strongly represented." The its in this case is possessive yet doesn't have the apostrophe. Perhaps Premiere's is something that has crept into my consciousness over the years, I don't know but either way, the banner can stay as it is. I think you all get the general drift and it will be changing again on Friday. ;D

Yes, the possessive 'its' doesn't have an apostrophe - it is the same as his and hers in that sense. The apostrophe is for particular possessives, like Kath's. And fair enough about leaving it ;D
