I'm was planing on taking my kids to the Warringah Mall thing but the best friend's sleepover (in which not much sleep has been had until about half an hour ago) may mean they will be too ratty to manage it...

That is my plan - my kids want to see Damien too, but they are going to be cactus at this rate cos of being late to bed because of the best friend sleepover, and we have to do Xmas photos in the morning and it could take almost an hour to get there with traffic/parking. Nothing like schlepping three children 9, 6 and 5 everywhere on your own! But that's the plan...

Guys I am so sorry I ended up going with my Mam and sister (it was a last minute thing). If I'd have thought ahead I'd have got on here to check out where everyone was going to be and made a point to meet up. I made a complete eejit of myself, when I met him my hands were trembling (I made a mention about getting an e-mail off his mam and that my Dad grew up in Kildare- he told me he was going home for Christmas and that he always loves hearing an Irish accent etc). I saw Wombat in the crowd. He is one of the loveliest genuinely nice young men I've met in a very long time. I met Geldoff a few years ago (got him to sign an old ten pound note) he was excited to hear the accent, but was a bit of an ego though. Anyway did anyone else go? I'd love to hear your account. After seeing him live my mam, my sister and I have all said we'd go and see him in a concert. He is just absolutely brilliant, humble and talented. Who ever tried to say he was boring (on AI site) needs to extract their head out of their backside! Our Australian Idol has so much personality it's not funny! xx Irish - I thought Braff and I were the only ones there! Why didn't you come and say Hi? Would loved to have met you. Where were you standing during the performance? Isn't he brilliant - so natural and looking more at ease with himself every time you see him.

Dede I hope that you make it there after having to miss meeting him on Friday. When you tell him who you are you'll probably rate a hug and a kiss. Wonder what neski will get. ;D

![:o](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/shocked.png) I am so in love that I pressed the wrong button on my keyboard. What Wombat didn't tell you is that when she was being interviewed before the show she was asked what song she would like Damien to sing and she replied " Baa Baa Black Sheep' he can sing anything for all I care. He will do it beautifully. Or something like that.
