I've just spoken to Channel 10 programming in Sydney and there is no Damien Leith special being televised on Sunday 28th January. Damien is featured in the line up of stars for the Australia Day Live Concert and that's all.  |

Do you think they'll combine the Damien Leith special with the Austrlaia Day live concert? Or have a whole show just for Damien coming up soon?

No Shims, the Australia Day concert won't be combined with a Damien Leith special. Hopefully there will be a special on Damien down the track but it won't be this coming Thursday or Sunday night. We still get to see him singing live and I so hope he's wearing his hat.  |

Aaaaahh! Just walked past the tv and who comes on channel 10! They were playing an acoustic version of Waltzing Matilda and showing Damien and saying how his citizenship ceremony will be on the Thurdsay night show!! The ad was just for him!

That I believe is the new ad. They are now saying the concert and his citizenship 8.30 Thursday night.
I rang Channel 10 yesterday afternoon and the person I spoke to was still saying that the replay of Australian of the Year Awards was on at 12 midday Sunday. I don't think they know what they are doing. We will have to wait and see.

I'd never rely on any of those people who work on the switchboards for the major TV networks - generally they are very clueless. I've got to watch Channel 10 today for the promo ad - Damien in the acubra............  |
