What's wrong with you Winter?! we watched it last night and we're not mentally scarred...I don't think...  He sounded great! And I loved the dancing! I greatly respect that he can laugh at himself, it was very brave of him *salute* |

Quite safe Winterlong - I loathe the song itself and have not watched it on the CD/DVD. Watching this vid though, I think the great thing is that it showed just how comfortable and at ease Damien was with his audience, to risk doing it and maybe getting the monkey off his back ( he has referred to Celebration as an aberration in his idol quest. Also demonstrates how cheeky he is,and what a great and generous sense of humour he has. It made me laugh - I found it not the least bit worthy of "the cringe factor" if you know what I mean. Watch it all you'll enjoy the experience. Thanks for the vid OzBrat.

Awww - Just watched Damien sing Celebration - thanks Ozbrat. I must say it lacked a
bit of energy from his performance on idol - which by the way I still LOVE!! Glad to see
him 'dancing' a bit at the end - looked a tad embarrassed. What a sweety - makes you just want to give him a big cuddle doesn't it *sigh*

Just watched it, had to be without the amazing singing because my sister is asleep across the hall Love 'im! He has such a fantastic naturalness in front of an audience! Love his sense of humour! I thought the whole jumping thing was cute!  The atmosphere was so festive at that point, the place really went off! Everyone was clapping! That song wins over the crowd no fails, even if it doesn't impress the judges (have you considered becoming a judge Winter? ) And he'd sound good singing just about anything anyway. Even Bohemian Rhapsody. Which is saying something.  |

what have i been missing tonight. ah2 i'm pmsl. gee you guys must have tape recorder ears (does anyone remember tape recorders  ?). i just remember someone from Wednesday night (can't remember, was it gj or dede?) saying how hard it was not to look at Damiens crotch. now all i can remember is avoiding looking at the pants area . (i have a very  mind). so ah2, will you be bringing your hubby along next time - so i can y'know . can't say i've noticed many women checking out my hubby, thats probably because i have him under lock and key and my hand firmly on his arse so no one can look. |

I've just downloaded the video and I giggled all the way through it. Not at Damien, with Damien. I think I detected a little smirk on his face at the end. I love a man with a sense of humour.  He looked a bit tentative at first but still went with it, gotta love him for that. We all know how he felt about that song, yet he went ahead and sang about a minute of it to a full house at one of his concerts and even threw in a little jig at the end. I'm so proud of him!  Thanks Ozbrat for making the video available for us, it's a keeper. |
