Yes, it's quite annoying that in Sydney it was some bloke in the audience who outdid us But at least Damien has it on the record that Sydney is the naughtiest - and considering the Brissy girls, that's REALLY saying something

Well done on the report. So he did Tenterfield Saddler again. It seems to be sung at matinee performances. He sang is last week at Cant. Hurlst. too. That is looking good for OzL then because todays concert is a matinee. I hope he sings it. He will be so tired after todays concert he will definitely need his rest. (just testing out the smilies)

Great report Andy.
Well here is mine.
Saturday morning I went to Florist to order Single Red Roses for the concert. Lady at Florist asked me what the occasion was and I told her I was going to see D and she told me that she loved him as well and when I told her that I would probably be throwing the roses towards D, she said she should make an extra effort with the presentation. Okay so now I have taken care of the roses. Back home to put on TWJ and get ready to meet a friend for a couple of drinks before heading to the Club. Get to the Club at about 2:30pm and go to the bar to have a refreshment and then I remember must message Andy to let her know I am here. Andy walks past me, so I chase after her. We chat for a little while and find out that we grew up just one suburb apart and that we went to the same high school (what a small world). Now realise the time has flown and it is now 2:55pm. Andy rushes off to go inside and I am following shortly behind. Once inside we find our front row seats and Andy is sitting just a few seats away. I could not believe how close to the stage I was seated and right in front of the microphone. Shortly after we are seated the lights went dim and Mark appears on stage. At this time I am listening to Mark but am thinking about D and how much longer before he comes on. 30 minutes or so later the moment I have been waiting so long for has now arrived and D comes onto the stage. I reckon I must have sat there stunned for the first couple of songs because I could not get over how close to him I was. It was like a dream. He wore a khaki shirt, nice tight jeans with a silver buckle. Very nice indeed. From where I was seated my eyes were in line with his buckle. Andy has already made a list of the songs he sang. D played one chord and asked the audience who knew what the song was and Andy shouted out Night Of My Life and D pointed at her and gave her a great big smile and she almost jumped off her seat with excitement. We stood up and gave him standing ovations for Crying, Nessun Dorma and finally Unchained Melody. Andy and I looking occasionally at each other in amazement. The performance which really moved me I would have to say was Come To Me. As D was singing this I was all chocked up and had tears in my eyes. D sang it with such feeling and I could tell that this song was about something close to his heart and affected him emotionally. He had tears in his eyes and so did I. After Unchained Melody, Andy and I made our way to the stage and threw our roses towards him which he picked up and acknowledged. Poor Andy at the end of the concert was a real wreck, she had me worried there for a while as she was trembling. I bought an autographed photograph and magnet from the merchanise stand - the photograph sits on top of my tv unit and every time I go to open the fridge D's face is there. Andy and I had our photograph taken together and then we then said our goodbyes. It has taken a while for all of this to sink in as it was just an unbelievable experience.
I had the afternoon of my life.

Nice report EB - I didn't listen too carefuly to Mark first night because of excitement and my late entry - but second night I thought he was great.

I dont think i stopped shaking for ages, my mum kept saying "calm down"- yeah right as if I could. Anyway it was great to have you to share the concert with, and don't know if i would have been game to do the roses thing unless you were doing it too We will definitely be seeing each other at next tour, front row i hope
