Tim Friedman, lead singer of The Whitlams, hosts a show on VEGA95.3FM in Sydney on Sunday nights at 6PM, on which he interviews Aussie music personalities, and they play their favourite songs. This coming Sunday, Damo will be a guest on the program. The radio station is at 95.3 on the FM band in Sydney. ;D

That's brilliant! I listen to VEGA in the car sometimes and have heard the ads for TF's programme (but have never listened to it) Always thought it would be great to have D on there...but thought TF might think D lack "credibilty" without his own album under his belt. HOW NICE TO BE PROVED WRONG!! (mis judged TF ...or Vega managment...)

Thanks very much for all the info guys Although I've never heard this program, I'm really looking forward to this...I gather that D will be selecting some tracks, and perhaps talking about them? I've always wanted to hear more of him talking about the music that he likes..there have been so many interviews done about winning, and citizenship, and the new album etc etc....I really want to hear D talk about what floats his boat musically ;D Of course, I'm sure there will be plenty of the stock standard questions too...but being interviewed by a musician...well, I have my hopes up

I'm with you Winter - I love to hear musicians talk music. To me the test of a genuine musician is whether they go into full squee mode when they talk about the music that inspires and influences them. So I'm really looking forward to this too.
