Hugs from me too.........they had some wild weather up there .....I suppose they don't want to take risks with teh idol........I'd be surprised if he doesn't whip the guitar out at some point........

Oh what a shame for all you Brissie girls.  Still at least you might still get a hug - and yes it should be an extra big one  to compensate for being rained out! oh yeah, and you can get one for me too  |

This sucks! We take days off etc (I have to work the next 3 Thur nights in a row to do this) and he can't sing. But when it rains in Sydney he still does. I think Brisbane is cursed!  It was virtually monsoonal that day in Sydnay, and we thought the whole thing might be cancelled before we got there. When I called in to check, they said he would still be signing things but *may* also still be singing, because they would move everything into the record shop behind the stage. So before we went, nothing was certain at all. Hopefully they will have some alternative place available there too where Damien can still perform, I'm sure if he will if able. I hope you all have a brilliant time, I just know you will |

I know gj, I think of you guys often when something like this happens. We will get to see him at least, and get our cds signed, so that will be nice, and of course a few hundred photos to make up for no singing!  ;D  |

I was just ecstatic that they said the whole thing wasn't cancelled on Sunday! When I woke up, it was like living in the tropics, I've never seen rain like it in Sydney - really intense driving rain. I was so worried it would all be cancelled & I was thrilled when they said he'd still definitely be there to do signings at the least  So when do you think we'll hear from them?  Lol, if they all post at once, this should be interesting to try to follow |

You should've tried driving along the freeway in that, Shims - we had to stop Damien's cd because we couldn't hear it over the rain pelting on our windscreen I'm sure Damien can sing and sign at the some time, he'll fit a sessun in there for you somehow. Can't wait to hear what's happening! It's been a D-overload around here lately ;D |

We also couldn't hear the CD at times in the car the rain was so loud!!  |
