Damien on Australian Idol - Aug 30

I really like that cover, with his name printed that large on the front it will be hard to miss
Would be good if they had of got the album name and book name the right way around the first time on idol. Poor old James M

I thought he got quite a bit of time on the show tonight though. Better than the 30secs he got the other week. And they showed the tour dates too

The video I've got of it is about 8 1/2 minutes which is pretty good considering the show only went for 30mins minus ads he almost had half a show ;D

They showed some tour dates, but missed out most of them I think? He got a decent amount of time though.

Tina so cute about the young girls, I was wondering and watching them during the performance to see if they were feeling the beginnings of teh coma at close range

lol, Irish, you were fast getting that screen cap up! I love the new cover too - it seems so right to have a man walking in the hills on it - and bare shoulder girl is still there too, and the colours up the side - I likes!

And wasn't it great to see him get so much air time!!

Nuffy's quotient has definitely risen to hawt since she met Damien and yourself at the mall, Shims!!!! What did you girls do to her?!?!? Or should we blame Damien for that one!!

lol, I think we can safely lay the blame at Damien's feet for this . The problem is the poor lady went into nirvana eclipse overload on her first time - I don't think it's actually safe to be in the front row and to hear acoustic "Songbird" on first exposure to teh euphoria... the rest of us barely made it out alive as it was...

Interesting that the book cover is not the same as the one I posted, since mine came direct from the HarperCollins booksellers' brochure - but I like this one better. They have printed 'A Novel' on the front - for all those who will think it is a biography, I suppose. Last one I saw like that was Nicole Ritchie's book

And I must be the only one, but I don't like the cravat one bit - smacks of 'old man in smoking jacket' to me
I agree it is better than a tablecloth or tea towel, but I don't find it hawt at all

Did anyone think though that the falsetto lacked a bit of oomph tonight? Perhaps he's over that song, or he got flashbacks standing there in front of the judges? Am I the only one who thought that?

I agree about the falsetto - not sure whether it was sound problems in the studio or what but yes, the falsetto seemed a little flat (literally on one occasion).

The falsetto was a little weak in a couple of spots but I thought in general the performance was of a really high standard. I hope that's how 22 Steps is done at the concerts.

And I hope Brianna was taking notes on how the real stars do quirky.
