   This is one of the best interviews ever I saw with D. He was wearing lovely tightjeans, army navy jacket and the most gorgeous organge T-shirt ever, with "Cold" written across it and an arrow going through the word. He also wore the tie, which he had on his appearance at Sunrise. He had runner shoes, the ones like he wears on his TWJ DVD. Boy, but he was HAWT. He said how he came into Dublin Airport at 2.00 p.m. yesterday and was suffering from jet lag (even though he did not look it). Interviewer asked him what he was doing here before he left for Australia. He told her and then how he went over there and how he was hoping that would not be the end of his music career, as he did not know what to expect. Told her how he was out having lunch one day with friends, where auditions for Australian Idol were taking place, and they encouraged him to go for it. He sang Blowers Daughter. He said how two of the judges (wonder who!!!) said horrible things about him and were not very complementary to him but that the lady was very nice to him. She asked him what the Australian people thought of him and he replied "that they are really great over there and how fantastic they are". She remarked on his great singing voice and he said how he loves doing the Falsetto. She said that his mum must be very proud of him and he said, of course, that she has supported him in everything he does. He was asked what the two boy's names were, and the interviewer just loved them. She had a copy of his Album and Book (I wanted to grab them off her). The cover of the book seems to be gone back to the original..... with just the man climbing over the mountain. He hopes to come back to Ireland in December   and do about 5 gigs around the country. He is going to sing AIWIY on the Late Late Show on Friday night. He did not sing on this show, but they showed a clip of he being announced Australian Idol and also a clip of the 22 Steps Video. When he was finished they brought him over to have some of the brown bread (which your man was busy making earlier  ) and a cup of tea. He said how he missed the brown bread as there is none in Australia. They were doing a draw, during the drinking and eating, and Damien picked out one of the winners. Lucky girl got the Album and Book as her prize. I am in "teh coma", Nirvana Eclipse, the heart is pounding like mad.
