Wow!! Just got to watch all of the show!! Damien sounded fabulous with AIWIY - my DH said he was brave to try those notes at this time of the morning, however he added that if anyone could do it Damien could!! Loved seeing Carla's head sitting on one of Damien's shoulders during AIWIY, then Braffy had the other shoulder!  Good positioning girls! Also saw Wombat, and was the blonde lady next to her BG?? I thought she looked like she was part of the gang, but wasn't sure. Looked like a good crowd! Looking forward to hearing all the stories later!! Ha ha watching the tarts now.......... |

AIWIY was very good. Songbird sounded a little flat, but I liked it. It also sent our little boy to sleep - really! He was really tired, and stopped whinging and lay down and listened and fell asleep! So Songbird goes onto the CD player in his room immediately!
My wife likes Damien's singing but it's fair to say she isn't as much of a fan - she thinks he's "blessed with an unfortunate interview voice" and didn't like Songbird because "oh god, he's singing another soppy ballad".
There may even be an element of truth in that last point somewhere.

AIWIY was very good. Songbird sounded a little flat, but I liked it. It also sent our little boy to sleep - really! He was really tired, and stopped whinging and lay down and listened and fell asleep! So Songbird goes onto the CD player in his room immediately!  Squeeee! Just watched it now! Saw all the tarts  Carla, Womby, Braffy, and I'm guessing bg. And they got their hugs Squeeee! We want pictures ladeees! There was a big crowd- hope there's a big crowd for the book signing too! Damien looked and sounded fabulous! AIWIY sounds brilliant live- I can't wait till the concerts!

A reasonable point? We all know he does more than that but AIWIY is the first sign to the great unwashed that he owns a drum kit! |
