Damien should make an exercise video where he wears a bear suit and sings the hee hees while jumping on a trampoline with an elephant. ;D That would sell well.   Wombat, your siggy!  |

Jam Jam, i did notice a couple of minor wobbles but in terms of the whole performance they can be overlooked. The final memory for me was a rocking good tune and performer. One improvement tho I'd like is for Damien to not turn away so often immediately at the end of a line. It's a bit distracting to see him look at the guitar or around so much as it breaks the audience connection with him. I liked the steadiness he developed and evoked as he went through Idol - probably with reminders from the style team performance coach - though still rocking. But as i said - I loved the performance tonight  |

L  ve your new siggy womby, one of my favourite pretteh in there  and thanks so much for the youtube link gj  Thought some of the falsetto thready, but overall a terrific rendition and agree with you nuffy, he really captures you with his look and shouldn't break away as much. |

Damien did a great job tonight, but I thought he was a bit shakey in parts. Does anyone think he'd be better without the guitar for AIWIY? I think I know what it is! His eyes were scanning the audience, but Eileen wasn't there! You could see in his AI performances his eyes would keep going to her and she wasn't there this time, and in front of the judges, I think he needs her there to calm his nerves! But he was obviously in happy land singing to her down the camera, those smiles! My mum said she had goosebumps, and she loved the band, I can't wait til she sees him with the whole band live! He'll knock her socks of! She was boasting that Damien and her did that song as a duet at Warringah! I got the kiss though, Mum!   Anyways, I have the feeling someone else will yell 'take your shirt off!' at the concerts this time! We have the invitation, time for him to follow it up!  ;D |
