Yes, I will be having me some fun tomorrow ;D  Agree that D has been the best artist by far - Darren Hayes I thought was.......um, odd. Carl wasn't bad, Natalie was good, Shannon couldn't manage the low notes at the beginning of his song, Matt breathed in the bloody mic again (but at least he has pulled the wig on a bit straighter), haven't seen the Noll brothers or Tarasai yet. |

I agree on the Darren Hayes comment but I'll say no more  I think all the idols did better tonight without the judges, who needs em anyway? Although Matt's guitar shaking is odd and annoying, though it did make me laugh ;D Was Shannon even singing that live? I know he was singing it live in the shed but the sound we got through the tv did not sound like it was in a shed. It sounded to clear like it was through a mic and at 1 point a note went longer than his lips did And he was tilting his head so far back I thought he was about to fall over backwards  I thought this guy was the best though:  |

*takes deep breath* Can't remember the exact order. Rogue Traders rubbish........... Young Divas.....First channel change. Darren Hayes totally rocked it, he was AMAZING..........so much energy and enthusiasm ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh  Katie Noonan. Best way to kill the show after Darren's performance. Yes she has a good voice but that was dead boring. Vanessa Amorosi. Amazing........I love that song and she's a natural born performer, awesome! Damien. Stunning. I must that I wish he didn't do a cover. He should of done an original song. He was brilliant as always Shannon Nolls pre recorded ermmm song, boring, OMG I thought I was going to fall asleep. Shannon Noll's brothers. they held my attention more than Shannon Noll did and they're less annoying  Current idols. Marty. That song really suited him. Did anyone notice in the first group performance he managed to get out of time in one line Daniel. the man is hotttttttttttt. Oh yeah and he did that song pretty well too, considering I'm not keen on that song at all, he improved it. Carl. OMG that was the lamest shit I have ever seen. I didn't mute or change the channel cos it was so hilarious. They should hire him for Carols By Candlelight Natalie. WOWZERS. WHY CAN'T SHE DO THIS ON A PERFORMANCE NIGHT. She could get touchdown for that. Amazing! Matt. He was great. Needs to fix the breathing. Thought he connected with the song well Tarisai. Can't comment on this cos tv was on mute. 50% improvement with no sound Did I forget anyone? One of the best idol shows in 5 years thanks to D and D...oh and yeah D |

Well let's face it, could anything be worse than Carl.......................................not that I can think of anyway. He's so LAMEEEEEEEEEEEE  Anyways Darren's stuff isn't exactly mainstream these days but after 11 years he is changing and evolving and it keeps things interesting Having said that it's the only 'helium' song on the record and the most 'dancey' song also so it doesn't really represent who he is as an artist today but it's a catchy fun song (and it will go off when I see him live next week  ) Oh and Darren could show Daniel a thing or 2 about robot dancing |

Agreed, stand still, look pretty, mouth closed.  Sorry, I find Daniel excruciating..as for Darren, erm, yes well..what WAS that??  Loved him in his SG days, but that was godawful. I'm in total honesty, feisty mode tonight...so forgive my bluntness please. I enjoyed Katie, she has incredible pipes. The Divas were terrible.. someone was pitchy, poor timing...urrgh..and then, Damien turned up and was just..ASTONISHING!!  I am eclipsing and I wasn't there, so ladies, I hope you can stand it. I turned it off after D. Nothing could spoil it then. |

I agree gj re: the Daniel hand thing - though he looks so happy and sweet, it's hard to be mean to him!! Darren Hayes - I really didnt' like that song - too much helium tonight! He was kind of weird, but, he did rock out and looked like he was having way too much fun!! I saw him live with Savage Garden and he was superb!!! Not quite so cute now - but then we are all getting older!! Damien - how divine!!! We bought a plasma widescreen tv this week and those eyes - so greeen - those eyelashes - so Vanessa Am. was great - she is a cool rock chick.  Tarasai seemed a bit off tonight, didn't seem happy! Divas - well even Andrew G forgot to thank them!!  |
