DAMIEN: Hey there, it’s not. Record sales have no impact on radio’s approach to things although, they do help.

Can you tell us more about the worldwide deal with Universal Music Publishing Group, in regard to your song writing?
DAMIEN: I’m thrilled with my Universal Publishing deal - it basically covers me for all my song writing throughout the world. It’s fabulous because it allows me to pitch songs for other people, movies etc.

I’m thrilled to be coming to Perth next month. I had always planned on having a concert here but the big question was whether we could get the whole band here and thankfully we can.

Hi Damien - when you were writing One More Time, did you ever imagine you would find a publisher and get it actually published? How long did it take to write and which author would you say has been your greatest influence?
DAMIEN:Hey there, it was always my dream to get my writing published and thankfully with ‘One more time’ it happened. I’ve got quite a few plays which I sent to many places over the year and who knows, they might surface in the future. My main inspiration for writing was playwrights such as Arthur Miller and Sean O’Casey. The book took me about a year to write and many years, editing, ha.

DAMIEN: Hey there, I’m always working on new material and definitely I’ve been thinking about what the next album will be like. We still have a long way to go with this album so I don’t think that things will get started until mid next year.

DAMIEN: Hey Andy, we hope to release a copy of one of the concerts but at this time we haven’t planned anything yet - there is talk about a special Christmas release but this may or may not happen and I doubt that it’ll be a DVD this time.

That cut-off of 2:45 - would that be Perth time, Womby? That would be 4:45 here. I didn't see that message, so maybe I'm too late. Not to worry.

DAMIEN: Actually today i’m wearing a giant mouth, ha. I normally pick my own clothes but I do get help for any big events through a stylist called Juice and my wife helps out a lot.

Hi Damien, thanks for siging my copy of “One More Time” last week. I am only a short way into it but so far the story has me intrigued and I am loving the style in which it was written. If it were to be made into a movie, which actor would you like to see play the lead role?
