Unfortunately with the video you don't hear the first part of the interview. They played 'All I Want is You' (recorded version), said what a great song it was and that they had seen him on Sunrise and heard the song then. They then moved onto the nappy scenario which is the video part.

I started to watch this video, but I stopped after a minute or so. Mainly because it wasn't playing very well, but I didn't want to try and reload it and switched off in disgust. I know this may seem like I have no sense of humour (I actually think I do), but what I saw of a fully grown man pouring urine into a nappy and lying on the table like that was disgusting and irrelevant to Damien's purpose as a musician. Reading bawdy limericks and tacky Mills & Boon stuff is one thing, but this really goes off the edge for me. Thankfully Damien is no diva and seemed to have taken it all in his stride.

Sel, it's just a bit of fun (even though it's gross) and I doubt they would have said "sorry we aren't going to play your song" if Damien said he wouldn't change the nappy.

I've deleted those screencaps I took. Looks like a few of you aren't too happy with the prank they played on Damien. and that's ok, not everyone will see the funny side to this. For all we know, Damien may have been annoyed himself, or he may have found it totally amusing. Each to their own. But I took the photos out, so that you aren't reminded of it.

I work in a childcare centre i don't know how you do it. ofcourse my babies bottoms smelled as sweet as sugar candy - no matter what was in their nappies - but a couple of times i've had kids playing at my house and they've actually called me in to wipe their bottoms OMG Princess... if you ever wanted to see a real princess - you should see me wiping someone else's kid's bottom Roxy that was very tactful of you. personally i didn't object to the photos staying there, i just wouldn't have made a habit of coming back to this thread to look... i am feeling physically quite sensitive at the moment - i don't need much encouragement to feel like this

i wish these radio and tv personalities would just cut the crap no pun intended LOL! I thought maybe my sense of humour had blown a fuse. I just don't want Radio Stations starting to think Damien is easy prey for this kind of thing. I'd rather keep the emphasis off his musicianship. I found this quite upsetting. Thanks Roxy - I did find the caps ewww but surprised that they were unpopular enough to get them deleted
