Had a blast. I met up with Braffy, Womby and DMAC at a less than glamorous Hut (McDonalds) after Sunrise and they spent a while telling me all about their Damien encounters. We had quite a bit of time to kill before the book signing at 12:30. We headed over to the store after 11, hoping to spot Shims. Much squeeing, hugging and yakking when we finally saw her. Hyp, Hypermom and Hypersis eventually arrived and then Morgs and bump. Everyone was showing photos and other items that they had brought for him to sign. We had strategically positioned ourselves right in front of the area where he was going to perform and then sign after much discussion and arm twisting with security. Wardrobe was very baggy jeans (we had a good long look from behind, especially when he bent over), light blue collared shirt and skinny tie. It might have been what he wore at Sunrise. He performed AIWIY and then 22 Steps in front of the store. We could have reached out and touched him. A lot of the shoppers were having a listen too. It was good publicity for him all around. After he was finished we had the group shot and then teh stubble kisses for all of us.  We also gave him a big hug from Carla and I filled him in about how she was doing and about her daughter. He told me that he had read a message from her that morning. He is such a sweetie. The sparkle was definitely back in his eyes. It was good to see. I hope that he gets a real rest in Ireland to fully recharge his batteries. |

What a lovely report BG. I would have loved to have been there with you all. I was so looking forward to seeing you all and getting some pics and have a Christmas Hut. You know I would have dragged your butts down to StarBucks for a Gingerbread Latte...haha. Ah well, how about next Christmas?  Shame you forgot your camera hun...I did that at the first ever Sunrise meeting last year. Thanks for giving D a hug from me....he must be all hugged out after today...hahaha. Sounds like a lovely day and a lovely get together!  |

Womby was planning to call you and put him on (my credit was way too low) but he got rushed away, so she couldn't.  That would have been a big surprise and might have cured you.  We had a Hut afterwards at a little place in Centrepoint Tower that Shims knew without Hyp and family, who had some shopping to do. We had a great lunch and had some nice group photos. It's always hard to say goodbye to everyone. |

Thank you Sister, Princey, & GJ  I am falling into advanced coma fast so I have to get going on these pics before I go too far into teh nirvana eclipse  I have some lovely ones and Dawn and Womby have absolutely stunning pics! Can't wait for you to see! I was on pics duty and Womby was on video duty but her memory card ran out during 22 Steps, so I took over video on my camera from that point. So she has some brilliant video on her much better camera coming up! |
