Ummm...this is a Creep appreciation thread...I don't think it's necessary to bag other Idol contestants performances. I thought they all showed great talent with different strengths, weaknesses & potential...some performances being better than others... Damien was the outstanding performer...that's why he won!!!  I think his was a brilliant version of Creep which really showed his versatility. |

I loved Creep..absolute knockout! in fact, I'd like to hear more of Damo's rockier side..and I loved the *armbehindhead* move..phworrr!!

I loved this performance of D's...wonderful version of this song!! Would have loved to have heard the acapella version... Help me...I'm melting just at the memory of that...  The girl who rang in started talking over the top of him! Perhaps it's just as well - if Ihadn't been annoyed with her, I might have been comatose! If he ever gives a performance and allows audience requests, I've gotta ask for that again, it was exquisite! |

Sorry!  It actually took me a while to like Creep, at first I didn't really like it. But knowing it was his wedding song and listening to the lyrics helped turn it into one of my favourites! I even thought of an idea for a comic story based on the lyrics, I did character sketches and drafts of the first few frames, but I never really started it. Perhaps I'll do it for Damien and Eileen's wedding anniversary |
