Hmm .... in all my searching (which wasn't much) through these appreciation threads I didn't see one for Sky - so as it being my favourite I'm making one  I would just like to say ..... i love it! i love it! i love it! i love it!!!Hehehe .... The myspace one, it's gorgeous! The Idol LIVE one ... OMG! *pant* I love the way D owns the piano in it, the way he owns everything about it! Well duh - he wrote it! |

Neski, I love it too: Damien's performance on Idol was great. If his original songs I've heard already are a taste of what is to come on the album, this thing will be huge in 2007.  |

I love sky its EXCELLENT!! i really love the bit when the band comes in...it just sounds SO BLOODY GOOD!!!!. Definitely becomming one of my faves ;D

Sky is my fave original from Damien. It's just such a wonderful heartwarming song. Me too I love when the band comes in after he sings "it's a lovely dayyyyy" and goes on a high note.

I've read comments on the Aussie Idol site where people have said the lyrics are bad, and I completely disagree. The lyrics and the way Damien sings it are awesome.
I analysed 'Sky' and it's relevance to self discovery for an English assignment and my teacher liked my analysis. Any work I do which I can relate to Damien is always fun to do, which is cool.

I loved this on Idol too! I love all Damien's originals. I want all those I've heard on the album......and more of course! Now you've started something Damien! You are gonna have a really busy time keeping us all satisfied.  |

Oh yeah, I remember that. Your info was very helpful actually... thanks. I had two more assessments after that one on the same topic (Discovery), so I used Sky as one of my texts for those as well. |
