Also - it is possible to buy the songs separately. if you don't buy 22 steps the single that should be ok yup, that should be okay but I'm not taking any chances

How come we can buy them seperately? I would of thought the idea would of been to buy 22 Steps + the two B sides, then get a bonus for doing it? Seems weird to me. I know we will all buy 22 Steps regardless, but some people might prefer this other one *actually seems like everyone does like it better* I can't wait to hear it myself, sounds like a great song. ;D Sorry, I don't have itunes so have no idea how this works. You're welcome OzBrat! Roxy, on iTunes you can buy an EP or album as a single entity. Or you can buy each track individually. So with this EP you can buy all 4 songs together for $6.76 as a single purchase or the individual songs on the EP for $1.69 each

Buying the non-main track separately will not impact negatively on 22 Steps sales for aria guys. They are given out for songs not whole singles as far as I'm aware. That's why I bought the other 2 songs I haven't heard from the EP. I've always bought individual tracks via itunes or WM.

I wonder would it affect it if you then purchase 22 steps from the same place (eg iTunes) after the release date? I notice on iTunes all the songs are listed as from the 22 steps EP "album". (thank goodness Saturday is almost here...testing my willpower to the MAX!)

I don't know about that smilingeyes but since I won't be purchasing 22 Steps from there it doesn't affect me. I've already ordered the signed copy, which does count and, being on a pension, I cannot afford to purchase loads of copies anyway. I might buy another copy for a gift for someone though.

Hey that's cool LD I have been trying to find out this stuff for days now I wish it was clear to the buying public. I don't blame anyone for downloading IMU right now! It sounds so beautiful and Dede has given it rave reviews -this album is going to be brilliant!

I really like IMU so much and I'd have loved to see D put out one of his own songs on the first single but I do like 22 Steps too. I might change my mind about it when I hear other songs on the album but, so far, I would have liked Beautiful to be the first single. Daughter telling me dinner is getting cold so I'm logging off for now. Will be back later to do more hot 30 votes. Done 20 earlier today.

I'm not going to try to stop you GJ but what is the rapid fire? I can't manage to vote full on for 2 songs but I'll put in a couple if I can find it. I am listening to ISMU too. It's fabulous.

All right - well you know I'm inclined to get carried away, and I have again, but I seriously LOVE this new song I penned down my thoughts about the EP while listening to it and thought it would be nice to post about "I Still Miss Us" here now that's it's the big day and it's time to start getting really excited about the new music! raving on begins... now..."I Still Miss Us" stands out for me straight away - instant classic, a gorgeous gorgeous song. It's wonderfully deceptive in the lyrical prettiness of it's melody - sounding of a song of twirling joy and romance whilst simultaneously describing a wistful tale of loss, regret and longing. Damien's voice swings along, light and lilting, building within the beat which has echoes of Hothouse Flowers in the delicacy of touch through the arrangement. This is a meticulously crafted song of great beauty, and for me it's right up there with my other favourites from Damien, "Lilac Wine" & "Songbird". If this song gives any indication of what Damien's album will be like - it's going to be a real masterpiece!

Great review Shimms! I LOVE Damien's voice in this song!!! I've always loved this softer, lower register tone than the harder tones, although I do love everything about D's voice and the way he uses his magnificent range.

OK..downloaded the 4 tracks and all I can say is SMU is b-ewtiful...words fail me! WYA is fantabulous...love the contrasts & rock-y feel (shades of a NMTF vibe) AND the vocal overdubbing at the end...2 beautiful D voices for the price of 1...lol! 5 y.o DS is wandering around singing "who you are, who you are"...you get the picture of what's happening at our place this arvo... Bravo D !! Bring on the chart success!!!
