I'm lovin' it too! It's poignant and soulful without being whiny or morbid. Love that little elevated note in the chorus. It just sounds right; one of those songs that just clicks in your brain, it almost sounds familiar, you wonder that no one thought of the tune before because it just sounds so right. Then it gets stuck in your head and circulates there constantly   The explanation is so lovely, I really feel for that friend. It's a very subtle, yet powerful song. |

I have to agree with all the previous comments..have this song on repeat currently. It's perfect. A wonderful combination of lyric and melody, beautifully and emotionally sung, without being mawkish. Lovely instrumentation, not overdone. I think this is Damien's best lyric yet.

Just listening to WWL on my MP3 player (in one ear so I can keep the other one open for the kids...hehe). This is such a beautiful song and I still think it's my favourite! I have different favourites on different days but for some reason, I always come back to Alone. *sigh*...soooo beautiful! |
