lol - I'm on dial-up  - it took me this long to see it!!! Oh Naughty Damien  I think he enjoyed making that girl blush singing that song straight at her like that - yes, she didn't know where to look! as for the song! having now seen it at last.... *officially in teh coma*  w o w |

And to think that he worked out the chords just before singing the song. Loved how sheepishly honest he was in the interview - about not knowing how to play the song |

Thanks Nuffy and GJ. What a great interview and more importantly Damien's rendition of Never Tear Us Apart was fantastic! It was so cool to see the guy in the studio getting into the song and the girl was obviously in teh coma.  She just wasn't making any sense at all. I don't think I would be either if Damien was singing straight at me.  It cracked me up watching Damien trying to smash the guitar. He is such a gentle soul, I don't think he wanted to hurt it. I'm now working on an emoticon of Damien smashing a guitar over Kyle (fat face) Sandiland's head.  Stay tuned. |

That was really great! Thanks gj & nuffy! Now, I wish he had performed that one on AI - maybe they can bring him back for a request show, when this years show peters out...... I'm with you Mysterrri - there wasn't much aggro when he was smashing the guitar, I bet he's never done such a thing in his life before..... probably still has Post Traumatic Stress Disorder from doing it!! He is a lovely gentle soul!!  |

I was instructed by Italian mother-in-law to smash a bunch of artichokes open on the table. i really damaged my wrist after that.  So, I'm glad Damien didn't put his all into it when he's not used to smashing things  But it did look really funny when Jabba did it in one go - Damien DID start it off of course! lol Damien's got a great sense of humour and gets along so well with everyone! |

I got a feeling Damien wasn't into the idea of smashing the guitar either. I love the musicianship of just figuring out the tune and being able to play, would be wonderful to be able to do that |

Also meant to say that I find it a bit sad that only one station has started giving D a fair shake, unlike some of the "bigger" (in their egos) FM stations.....who just won't play my and probably your requests  steps off soap box and smashes it to pieces . |
