Sorry! Can't be done. When I try, I start fighting with myself!   Same here! Well, here's my current favourites, but this does change constantly, very very hard question: 1. Not Just For the Weekend 2. Beautiful 3. Songbird 4. I Still Miss Us 5. Blew it All Away But - well, it's just ridiculous the beautiful songs I had to leave out of the list! So, great problem to have, I suppose, that we are all struggling to narrow it down and even then are still not certain! |

That is how much I LOVE that song!! Totally agree with you! ;D However, counting just WWL tracks: 1. Cold Cold Heart 2. All I Want is You 3. Long way Back 4. Not Just For the Weekend 5. Danny Boy (does that count?) Shine Like the Sun comes in close after those, along with the original Beautiful. I think Alone needs a special mention too, since Damien has said it's his favourite track. And nothing beats AIWIY for pure makes-me-grin-like-an-idiot factor ;D And I love Blew It All Away as well, that ties with Alone and Shine Like The Sun, in fact they're all about on par with Danny boy, although sometimes Danny Boy makes me want to cry, um...how many is that now?  |

Danny Boy makes me want to cry, um...how many is that now? You too?? I was listening to it today and I had a tear in my eye and I have no idea why! Maybe because it's Damien singing about dying? I dreamt that he died once - it was horrible! Or maybe the sheer power of a beautiful song sung in acoustic. It's gorgeous, so pure and powerful, it grabs your heart strings. Then again, I've almost cried during AIWIY once - out of pure joy! It makes you grin every time, it's so upbeat and happy. A number of songs make me want to close my eyes and just listen - not a good idea when you're driving! I've had to fight the urge! ;D |
