And I also want to again thank Damien for his lovely words to us in the video blog.
For those who haven't seen it yet he was saying how during that bad time after Mark and Kyle had a real go at him that he was in quite a low and our positive messages really helped and meant a lot.
I'm so glad it helped his confidence & cheered him because we are supporting a great talent & great bloke and also no artist doing their best up there deserves to be used as a public plaything for the judges!

I couldn't agree more with you all.....it was awesome to hear him say that....but you are right Neski..we should be thanking him for letting us get a glimps of a man with such talent..who is also so nice and charming....(I'm sounding old now)..(and cheesy)..
but seriously...I'm glad he is able to see how many fans he has...we may not be the screaming yelling type..but we are all here to support him just the same.

may not be the screaming yelling type? Lets just say now even Guy Sebastian knows how I feel about our D man! He has to remember that every up and down rollercoaster he goes on - there are a lot of seats behind him containing us and were with him! (if that made sense) |

Thanks for scouting those out for us winterlong! It's nice to hear Damien talk about his feelings about the performances. It also shows as an example that when people make unconstructive criticisms of others, they forget how hurtful they can be - even when someone is not so "young and impressionable". I feel bad that Damien kind of took some comments to heart, but glad he also can bounce back and continue to perform from the heart, and not purely perform to impress the judges. (Because they keep contradicting their comments anyway!).
