I'm loving that he's going to put 100 % originals!! I can not wait  Though a thought crosses me mind... will the older demographics like what he's doing. It seems to me that they like the ballad-side of Damien (you know... doing covers and stuffs). Hopefully I am proven wrong! Damien will sure impress everyone on his originals and whatever path he chooses. Can we have the album like.... now? |

Aww that was gorgeous! I love the way he says 'fingers crossed', it's so cute! He looked so nervous to be talking to his fans, he was fidgeting like a school kid, he looked like he wanted to pace! ;D He's such a sweetie!  The album comes out just before my birthday! Yaaaayyyyyyyy!!! Looking forward to it! How excited and upbeat did he seem? I like a happy Damien! |

My biggest problem is the fact that I'll have to wait until April to hear it.  And also that the CD I burned will not play on my stereo system.  |

And also that the CD I burned will not play on my stereo system. Are you using Nero? Make sure you chose "Create Music CD", not "Data CD"! I've been caught out by that numerous times before |

Well, did this not just make my day or what!! What an absoluuuute sweetheart. And Shimmery, when you mentioned being 16 and getting a fan club message, it never ceases to amaze me how much technology has brought fans and their idols closer together. The last time I was in a fan club it was with "Frenz of the Enz" in the early 80's and it was exciting enough to get a photocopy typed message in the mail every few months! Now Damien says he will try to e-mail us from Ireland!

[/IMG] [/quote] SAME HERE Selestial!! Exactly the same, I was in the Frenz in the 80s, only other music fan club I've been in! Used to love the letters we got, you could just hear them speaking, their letters were just so them - Neil would be worried then cheer himself out of it mid-way, poor Paul would be hysterically funny. I still have all those. I treasure the gift CH sent us out one year - the signed green vinyl Christmas 45 single - exactly what the Beatles used to do, they used to send the fans a Christmas message each year on a 45 single - now look at this technology with Damien making everyone a video message! Funtarstic!!  |

Oooh I have three green vinyl singles from Split Enz' Merry Christmas to the Fans. Did CH do one too? Maybe it was later on after my time?
