The one thing?...ooooh toughy  Gotta say the musicianship - coz thats what dragged me in and got me voting week after week. But if he wasn't such a nice guy i could well have lost interest by now. Also on the subject of songs about the kids etc. i'm not into the whole mushy mushy thing (  ) and i like it when people keep their work and their private life separate. ...sorry - thats just me  . (e.g. if Damien writes, which i'm sure he already has, songs for Eileen and Jarvis - then thats great - but its for them not us) |

Billy Joel's lullaby for his daughter is really beautiful...I can't remember what it's called... Goodnight My Angel. I just googled it. Ah yeah thanks!  He performed it live at a concert they usually broadcast around this time of year, it's an old one, but it's brilliant, a must-see for anyone who's interested in Billy's work. It was at a university, and the audience were allowed to ask him questions, and someone asked him about it cos she sung it to her daughter, so he played it for her. It was beautiful!  Billy's a funny guy! ;D |
