Just wanted to share something with you that I heard on the radio this morning. The announcer on 2Day FM was talking about the staff Christmas party last Thursday night. He said that Damien had taken the stage and sung a few songs and then threw it open to the audience taking requests. The announcer said he could sing anything and that he will be brilliant in concert. Of course we already knew that but nice to hear it from someone else  |

HA HA Damien chatted about doing that 2DAY FM party last week. He said a lot of the radio people were completely pissed!  I bet Damo got well paid for doing that gig.  |

So cute...back to his singing in small pub days where he had to take requests from punters. I bet his repertoire is HUGE....
Great that 'industry bods' recognise his IMMENSE talent and aren't afraid to say so!

You used to be able to hire Damien to play at events like 40th birthday parties and so on and he'd give you a song book absolutely filled with songs and ask you to nominate those you did or didn't want to hear.

Oh for those days olddantucker!! I was speaking to my brother and his fiance the other day and they said that they'd like Damien to sing at their wedding. My brother then said that he'd get him to serenade me privately after the reception (better not tell my husband that bit!). Since then, I've been having little private fantasies of my brother's wedding and D singing to me! *sigh*
