Congratulations to Damien on a terrific 2007! 2008 will be even better: a new album, a new TV show, a new book etc. Despite what Paul Cashmere might think, Damien is a star, a multi talented man!

Thanks so much for all these great stats, Winter! This one is my favourite: WOW! That really shows, doesn't it. I love how Damien is proving to be a real "Album artist" as well - his albums are so worth looking forward to, and it's bringing back memories of the days when you would actually buy an album to listen to the WHOLE thing, not just a couple of hit songs. I used to love how sometimes singles were not even on the albums, (thinking here mainly of the Beatles UK releases) so that you would collect EVERYTHING your fav artist produced, as there were so many formats; singles, then limited edition eps, then the albums with completely different songs again. Damien has done a few limited and special edition ideas like that this year, with a couple of special iTunes collector's songs and the Christmas edition CD. I would love to see him continue with those special release ideas, and it's already getting exciting wondering what he will produce this year

I agree! Damien has proven himself to be a top rate singer/songwriter, author and TV host is coming up soon. Another album and getting a band together......wow! Cannot wait! Go Damien!

Thanks for such wonderful information Winter. It shouldn't surprise us but with the lack of radio support he got with WWL, I'm amazed and so happy for Damien that it went even better than TWJ for the 2007 sales - which we know sold so well during the pre-Christmas/post-Idol frenzy! . These results really vindicate everything we've said, and what the unbiased and true critics (who ARE worth their salt) have said about WWL: Where We Land IS a gorgeous set of songs to listen to and as a portfolio of quality songwriting craft. Congratulations Damien on an excellent year. What a way to start 2008!

What a fantastic and talented artist Damien is. To achieve what he has achieved in the space of one year is just incredble. I have been away for a short while so have not kept up to date with Damien's happenings for 2008. Can someone tell me what the news is about a new band and album? I seem to have so much to catch up on.
