The Dark Horse

Hi all,

I've just finished another wallpaper and here is a preview. The main image can be downloaded from the link below and I've also posted it to the Graphics Alert forum. I just wanted to have a bit of fun with the comment made by Mark Holden on Damien being the dark horse. Yeah well he's racing to the finish line now, ha!
I love the black and white pic that I used here of Damien even though the quality of the original from Channel 10 wasn't that good. There was only so much enhancement I could do but you get the general idea.

Nice! On that subject, this morning on the 11am news on Channel 10 they talked to Mark Holden and just asked about Ricky and Lisa and then who to look out for on Sunday. And Mark said about how it's the audience choice night and he can't say what they're singing but Damien is going to rock the house ;D and so he's the one to watch on Sunday night

Mysterri that is such a clever idea!! I love the whole look of your pic here, it's like Damien's striding along with that dark horse straight up the Opera House steps! Brilliant!

Wow, thats great that D is getting talked up already...whatever new meds mark is on, I hope he keeps taking them till Sunday night!!

Thanks Trilly. I use Paint Shop Pro for all of my graphic work. I'm hoping to get a few more wallpapers finished soon. I just wish I could get my hands on a pic of Damien at the Arias in his suit and red leather tie! That would make gorgeous wallpaper!

I'm with you, the anticipation is driving me crazy just waiting to hear Damien sing tonight. Not long to go now!

I was just wondering how you create all your wallpapers. I understand you use Paint Shop Pro, however, I am really computer elliterate, and am wondering, is there a simpler program for novice's like myself?

Hi Emmylu, I have also used Adobe Photoshop but I find that Paint Shop Pro is the more user friendly and the less expensive and both programs can achieve the same result. You can download a free 30 day trial version of Paint Shop Pro and I would recommend either version 8 or 9. If you need help, send me a private message and I'll do all I can to teach you what I know.
