Well this is just a little request frome me. I'm from Brisbane as you all know. And we don't set our clocks forward, so are 1 hour behind Sydney. And Perth + some other states are behind also.
Ummm, the question is can everyone hold off screaming "Yay! Damien is the Australian Idol" till all of Australia has seen it happen. I know I'll be screaming it too. But knowing beforehand spoils the fun.
Thanks in advance.

Jim, I would thoroughly recommend then not coming to this forum till after you've seen it yourself...because it goes off here every week, and tomorrow will be no exception!

Hmm... good point. I was going to come on here and blurt out the news as soon as the show ended because I know some people are behind and often like to know as it happens, but people probably would like to see this for themselves without knowing the results in advance.
Perhaps we should have a conversation thread marked with a spoiler warning so that everyone in the other time zones can squee at the appropriate times (because I personally know I'm not going to be able to say nothing), but nobody runs the risk of finding out something they don't want to. If we just talked about it in one clearly marked topic would that be okay?
EDIT: Staying off probably is the only way to guarantee not being spoilered - remembering how excited everyone got last week, I think we're going to have no hope of being even remotely quiet tomorrow. ;D It still might be a good idea to have a warning in the first post in case someone happens by without realising about the time zones...

..but you'll come afterwards, wont you? Of course. No matter what happens on the night, I wanna be at the party, thrown in Damien's honour. And yeah I'll not go online at all, till after the show.

Yeah... I predict lots of threads with rather... spoilery titles too. We can only ask that it not happen, but people are going to be so excited. And that's totally understandable.
Aside from threads, if about a million people descend upon the forums between nine-thirty and ten PM tomorrow, the result's going to be pretty obvious. ;D

Yeah... I'm coming on here no matter what happens, but I think if Damien wins we're going to get a flood of "new" people.
And on the topic of post-Idol parties... is there going to be a separate party thread after the show's over? Just so that if Damien drops by it's obvious that we're still here and supporting him regardless of the result?

Kami, I sincerely hope that after the result our boy is nowhere near a computer..I vote for him having a Boags in one hand and Eileen in the other, celebrating with his loved ones... but you are right, maybe a seperate party thread so if he ventures back here again in a few days/ weeks he can see.....(this is what you meant wasnt it?)

Yeah... a few days or weeks in the future is what I really meant! Not immediately after the show, obviously, because we all agree on who he should be with then, but maybe after when the excitement has died down, he might have a look in and it would probably be a big morale-booster for him to see something like that. You'll all have to forgive me, my brains are all over the place at the moment and I'm only making half the sense I should. I need to stop getting so worked up about this show!
