Today is the big day

I'm so excited about tonight's show. I've got to work today though so I won't be able to pop in much while all the excitement is building. Good luck to Damo and I hope he enjoys what is going to be one of his biggest night's of his life.

Nerves are building!!!

I wont be on much - but I'll still be here lol! Mum said if I dont finish my asssignment before Idol - I CANT WATCH IT!! WTF?

So it's the day and I'm... calmly freaking out. Can't wait for the show tonight and at the same time I'm all, "NOOOOOOOO! This is the last Idol show for this year! Prolong the thing as long as possible!"

Morning all. Kids have just left to go to their Dad's house for today/tonight/tomorrow so I am ready to get ready for the big night. I have tickets for the inside show *yippee* so have promised will make Full Report when return (although that could be a bit later given the hell it will be to exit from the SOH with all those crowds).

Have been voting madly - am up to 1396 votes to the 1902 55 55 62 since midday Monday on my Blackberry but have also been sending SMS and landline calls throughout the week. Crazy eh! And will not stop until it closes.

Gotta go buy a nice Green Frock for tonight.

Oh the nerves! I have all these friends in the orchestra tonight - they think I am bonkers of course, it is just another show for them.

I'm so nervous! Yet so excited! I had a dream last night that I checked a poll (I think it was the one on behindidol.com) and it said "DAMIEN WON!!!!!!!!!!!" next to his name. WHAT A WONDERFUL DREAM THAT WAS! I'm gonna try keeping myself busy all day because the suspense is killing me!

..imagine how Damien would be feeling right now!!!

Have just come back from an extended family breakfast where I had everyone reciting "SMS Damien to 191010" by the end. Have also done a final text message to remind all those unconfirmed voters why they want Damient to win ("do you want to be able to support his music career? Then vote so you can buy his albums!!!")...Lucky I now have this forum as I could very well become an outsider with friends and relatives over the new found passion....

Speaking of dreams though, last night I had a dream Damien and Jess were in prison. Go figure.

1396 votes dededom - that's way impressive. I thought I was doing well with about 100....now I see I'm just not worthy! It's not that my committment to Damo isn't there, it's just that other bills are there as well! Have started using my husband's phone as it's a prepaid one, so he won't notice. Luckily he's just as adoring of me as Damo is of his missus (probably a lot of the appeal I guess..) so I may just get away with it!

The Big Day is here

I'm also a little sad that it's the end of Idol for this year - but happy because after today whatever happens, there'll be a whole new era here - Damien's career post-idol! It's going to be exciting, surely with record releases and concerts to come, it's going to be great!

Hugs to everyone, try not to be too nervous (lol, I can talk... ) and Neski get that assignment out of the way!!!!!! I set myself a strict budget for the voting, then last night I saw Damien's face on the forum picture and just thought, wow, I really want to see him and Eileen and the family get their dear dream, so I added another round of votes.

Well, I'm heading off for my Idol Cocktail party now so have a brilliant night watching the telly everyone (and poncing around at the Opera House dededum - so jealous).
