Neski I was hiding under my blanket too! I am sooooooo happy for Damien and his family!! *happy dance* He deserves this so much, congratulations!!! And yay for everyone who voted for Damien.. I know I for one will be hiding my phone bill at the end of the month  oooh.. and 3 songs next week I'm just bopping around at the thought of hearing Damien sing some more. Can't wait! |

Bloody Nora, that was just too much, my heart is bursting with pride & happiness, got shivers over my whole body, YAHOOOOOOOOOO Damo, you made it. Look I have to say I am soooo happy little Jess made it with him, I really dont care who wins now, Damo has made it anyway and he couldnt lose the Idol Crown to a nicer young lady, (obviously it will be icing on the cake if he wins). I saw Damiens face and I could tell he was soooo happy it was Jess.
Now the only thing that ruined that moment, was the disgraceful way Holden told everyone that Golden Boy had a contract (reallyyyyyy would never of guessed) did he have to take the moment away from Damien & Jess, I thought it was cruel & heartless, Dean will have enough publicity from now on, he didnt need to be the centre of attention when it was The Final 2's moment of glory. For godsake give me a break, it was disgusting. Now back to the celebrations.
AUSTRALIA GOT IT RIGHT, the best 2 got there in the end, THANKYOU AUSTRALIA.

I'm so excited .... and I just can't hide it!!!! Woohoo way to go Damo!!!! I am SOOOOO happy he's going to the Opera House. Damien for Idol 2006.

Well done to Eileen, Jarvis, Mrs and Mr Leith, Aine and all the Leith family - you must all be so proud.
I'm so proud of Damien. This is the best night.

My brother and I (both singers who moonlight respectively as doctor and lawyer) were SCREAMING with delight at the news!!!! Damien we both think you are a fantastic singer. I'm sorry that my kids BURST into tears and sobbed at Dean's demise, but they had no hard feelings for you Damien, they love your voice too (if you could do a backflip you'd probably be guaranteed their undying love too).
