Just thought id start something up for all the mothers out there who find it difficult to get to see damien. Its real hard for some i know, either because of lack of finances, living too far away from where he is or just finding it difficult to farthom walking up to damien to shake his hand with kids hanging off you everywhere. Id like to organise something with anyone interested, i dont know maybe a mums group, where we can support eachother in our quest to meet damien. Just a thought that i wanted to put out there.
just adding this as an afterthought.. maybe if we get enough interest in this, we could have a damienites junior kids club! my 4 year old gets sooo excited when she hears him and it would be nice to get her involved in all this. Any ideas on what we could do would be great.

Sounds like a good idea, raiyne. Did you get someone to get you an autograph? I think we also need a thread for the Perth People who have little hope of seeing Damien for a while yet. When is he touring, any ideas? I'm coming to Sydney in March - I just hope this doesn't coincide with his tour to Perth!!!

i have no idea when he is touring. I live in a small area between sydney and melbourne so i doubt he will come here. i just added an after thought to my original post. we can brainstorm on what to do with people with kids all over australia that want to get involved. throw some ideas out there and we will come up with something.

That's a lovely idea! Btw, at today's signing I saw lots of Mums who brought their little ones along and they all waited in the queue - I even saw near babies! It all went pretty smoothly (it seemed to me anyway) for those Mums and Damien loved seeing the little kids. So, if you can't get some help minding the little ones don't discount taking them with you, others have

raiynetalon - you could always get a house-husband...that's my solution. My Hubbie stayed at home with the kids while I marched off into the city today for the signing (a 3 hour trek)...worked a treat. he he. Lucky for me he's in love with Kate Moss so not too many signings or appearances come up for her!
