What a fabulous piece of trivia! Well done sj on starting the discussion- even if the numbers are random...it's still great detective work, and lots of fun trying to figure out what it all means.

ETA: It looks like there's another 729 above the M in Damien as well, but in yellow.

Album artwork used to be a part of the whole Album experience- checking out the detail and generating curiosity about what it all means.....

SJ, Damien won't think you're an idiot and you may well be onto something. The numbers on the text are fascinating and I have never seen a font that has little numbers displayed like the one on the album cover. I'm sure Damien will find this all very intriguing as well and I hope that he will ask whoever designed the album cover what the name of the font is.

Ooh, that's very interesting. But SJ, what were you doing with the album cover that close to your face?

I've just checked all the other album covers (that we weren't meant to see ), and the numbers are on all the ones that use the same font as the actual cover, but they aren't on the ones that don't use the same font. So I think the numbers are definitely part of the font.

I was listening to CTW in my car yesterday when Annie's Song can on DD asked me to play it again. Sure why is that??? Because it is my favourite and I will always remember that night in Mandurah
