 I do believe it was the camera angle. What were they talking about Rhiannon? It seemed interesting. Who was the interviewer? It looks a bit like Michael Pope but I don't think it is. The photos are fabulous. Well done.

yeah im pretty sure it was Michael Pope and he was just the crowd entertainer during the adds and stuff. i can't remember for the life of me what they were talking about sorry. my friend did a few videos so i will see if he got a video of it.

Thanks Rhiannon. You got a much better view than I did - Damien was little more than a speck from where I was, but it was still great to hear him and the kids were very excited to see The Big D as they call him.
Shows you how small the PM is! Damien isn't tall but he is still much taller than John H.

Another thing I've noticed is Damien's T shirt, or more to the point, the colours. Orange and green (with white) are the colours of the Irish flag. Was he sending a little message that even though he is now an Australian citizen he is still an Irishman and very proud of his duel citizenship?  |
