Maybe he likes the town huh? ;D Or is could the be that he loves the DLO fans in that part or Oz! awww, thanks myst. We really felt the love tonight. He has been so amazing to us whilst in our town. We'll miss him, but all wished him well for the remainder of teh Tour.

Another fantastic show. Damien is a true story teller, very very funny the Irish coming out. He put on a great last show for Melbourne I feel a bit lost this morning. Lilac Wine was again the standout for me. Congratulations Damien for entertaining Melbourne as only you can.

Eileen was there (and we believe we also spotted Dean Geyer and Toby Rand - from Rockstar Supernova - in the audience also. Well. I spotted Toby Rand's butt anyway. And lo, but it was niiiiiiiice.) Damien was fabulous - he looked to be struggling through being tired but it didn't affect his performance too much. Great set list, although I join Winter in her cry of "No Crying??!! Noooooooooo", but is was nice to hear 22 Steps live and Lilac Wine was gorgeous.
And at the end of the night when Damien was asked by someone . . . okay . . . maybe me . . . to sign a copy of Where We Land with 'fiddle dee dee potatoes' he did. Bless him. Winter, Trillly and I giggled hopelessly about that for the rest of the night.
Fiddle dee dee! Thanks for another fabulous night Damien and DLO!!

Smiley, Eileen was there she is flying back to Sydney today and Damien to Tassie. The crowd was much bigger and more vocal than the previous night. Lots of Damienites, Trilly,Princess,Lady Di, Anyone,Winterlong,Roey,Tally and Nixter. We were all a bit sad because it was the last show for Melbourne. Having a few withdrawel symptems today. Lucky Tassie tonight and tommorrow. I will be waiting for their reports.

The room seemed very full - all the seats were taken (except maybe a few right up the back...that couldn't see the stage!). There were a few people standing watching at the bar, around stairwells and walls too (including the staff!) - it felt like a good capacity for the style of show (ie I wouldn't have wanted anyone else crammed in or standing!) Hearing D at the piano again was a treat, I'm hoping there is a piano at some of these other venues. I'd also agree with Trilly that D was on fire tonight in the comedy department - one of his off-the-cuff quips to sidekick Eric actually got a large round of applause and many laughs (from memory, D was introducing 22 Steps, talking about having a crush on a girl at school and wanting to take her to the wall - the Aussie equivalent would be behind the shelter sheds . He confessed that in the end he never got to the wall...to which Eric piped up mockingly:" I went to the wall". Damien then quickly replied "Yes, but going on your own doesn't count!". Much hilarity followed ;D)

It's taking me a while to get into Lilac Wine but it's growing on me... Like Maggiemay, I'd much prefer Time in a Bottle and the rest of the set list is just WOW! I'm looking forward to surprises. I wonder what his opening choices are? So far, Never Meant to Fail, Cold cold Heart, Shine Like the Sun,... And now that your shows are over... is so natural. for all the Victorian Damienites. You've done us proud. Thanks for all the funtarstic reports and photos and vids Now the Tassie crowd I can't believe the poor guy's got to move into new digs today after the big set of shows and then perform again tonight...
