One thing that really got me was Damiens new songs. They were just gorgeous. One was called I'll be There. Such a pretty song and really hope it does make it onto the new album.

It amazes me how some people go to see Damien at a show and are like oh yer he's alright. But afterwards......... Then they know what we are talking about

My girlfriend from last night liked Damien on Idol and last night was her first time to see him IRL. After about 2 songs....Oh now I know why you like him She just never listens that one

So we have a new convert that wants more D lurve

There for you (A new one that he is thinking of putting on his album that is due out in April)

Goodnight ( also as above) both were brilliant, he said the next album will be more "rockier" with a couple of slow songs such as these on it.

Well, I'm finally back!! had a big day and night , then spent the morning and afternoon browsing the Freo markets for some special gifts!!

It was a fabulous show! I felt like it was the perfect set list, while there is always more that I would like to hear, I felt realllllyyy happy with the full show!!

The two new songs were lovely, I particularly loved the first one (There for you), I think. He said it was the first time it had been played anywhere, if so we were very lucky!

The crowd were just loving Damien last night, very very involved! The singing had a life of it's own!! When Damien came back on after the break, he sat down at the piano and tinkled out "Let It Be", the first verse, and then he stopped (and you could see that was all he was going to play) and then the crowd boomed out the chorus, so he obliged and did the next verse and chorus!! It was really amusing!!!

The acoustics of the place also meant that Damien seemed to be able to hear every word that was spoken at the back of the venue! A few funny moments... when he was about to hit the hi-note of Hallelujah, you could hear someone at the back say, "He used to be a choir boy" and Damien started laughing, and asked "who said I was a choir boy??" And then when they were playing the intro to another song, someone commented "Oh, it's not that one..." and he stopped and said something about them being disappointed, and sorry he wasn't playing that song!! (or something to that effect)

And when Damien started talking about his growing dancing skills, he said, "you've probably noticed a change in me since idol days... what is it?" to which Eric quipped, "less hair". Eric said he had been waiting 40 shows to say that one!! and they all had a good laugh!!

All in all, a really great night out! Looking forward to tonights installment!!
