Thanks for the videos Chris - yeah, unfortunately being too close can actually be a problem!  But I heard it well enough to say: Sweet! I just don't get sick of Danny Boy - cliche or not... Damien does it in such a natural way that's not at all saccharine or operatic. I love his version. And Summertime... mmmm  I remember the old 1940's recordings of Porgy and Bess that I used to play from my parent s collection. I really enjoyed Damien's interpretation where he's given it a contemporary jazzy feel (swing?) and just melted with the sassy ending  |

I've just listened to "Message to My Girl" and though it's got distortion from the speakers I can tell it was fantastic Chris. Thanks for posting it. Ahhh, you were all so lucky to hear Damien sing it live. Wow!

Hi everyone, I have had the craziest week here (big fundraiser last weekend for the community development organization I'm in), so this is the first opportunity I’ve had to come on and post my pics from Calypso Bay. I am afraid they aren’t as good as they should have been, because stoopid here had the camera set on the lowest resolution, didn’t she? So most are pretty grainy and even a bit blurred, sorry.
