Edit - NB this is the jacket Damien was wearing when I bumped into him at the airport. As best I can remember, it is paler than the first few shots but not as pale as the last few shots. It's a great jacket. It looks kind of velvety to the touch. Very noice.

I like the pose - 'sophisticated casual' as you say. He looks very cool, a hint of attitude there. What I want to know is, how did they get the motion shot of the lights while he's still and in focus? Is it superimposed?

They look like car headlights so it could be because they are moving and he is standing still or they've used a flash which focused the foreground and not the background. One of my cameras takes pics like that if the lighting isn't good

Yes indeed. I remember seeing that look during a segment of Idol where he was wearing a sport jacket (or the like), cup of coffee/tea in one hand and the other in pocket. Still remember him like that. Ahh...fell in all over again! And another shot I liked during Idol was one of the info sections where he's driving. There were lots of shots I really liked. So much more mature than many men at 30 (not all, I hasten to add for the damienite men!! ).
