Oh this is just so exciting thinking about it Come on 2009 I remember D talking about making a band. His brother will be joining him and Eric plus another guitarist. Didn't ask about Indi, got side tracked But all that you have said. I know we will all love the album and hoping it gets more commercial advertising so it sells well.

Teh Band has been on the agenda for quite a while MissE. I remember it being discussed at the first Vanguard gigs. Nice to hear it's still a current idea and that Darren may be in it. Really hope it happens.

Spud why would you think it might be Paul?
Wouldn't it be more obvious to think it might be Darren considering he was here last year playing DRUMS with Damien on tour!

D said the album would be 'Rockier' so I'm hoping for that. Also that the lyrics are more generalised? I think that's what he meant. edit. By the way that Photo is GORGEOUS! I just love it. 2009 can't come quick enough. Yeah, I think I get what you mean. Neil Finn has said that some of his best songs had only 2 lines he connected with, but when he wrote them he thought "yeah, that is someone else's story'. WWL focused very closely on where Damien is now, so I hope he includes some more diverse stories in his lyrics - as much as I love hearing him sing about himself and his lovely family ;D - and perhaps whre he came from as well. He promised he'd try to put These Days on the album, I hope he remembers that and tries hard to get it on there! And yes, totally agree, that photo is Damien has had some time to get comfortable in the recording studio, so I'm hoping his confidence levels - and those of the label execs and producers - are up a bit so he can try more rocky, folky, raw, experimental, acoustically-driven, musicality-ambitious things. Tip: I read in an article about the Potbellies or something (no idea who they are!) that Damien is writing a song with them. Anyone know what that would signify?

Well yes, I assumed it was Darren as well, I was just suggesting that it might be Paul. But since Damien said it was Darren then obviously it is. Lol Tina, sexeh horse. Hyp, The Potbelleez are a band made up of Irish and Aussie people and I posted an article the other day about Damien writing with them. You might have heard their song (as in The Potbelleez, not Damien's) "Don't Hold Back"?
