I've been wanting D to do Kiss here for a while now...and he finally did. He made us wait til the last show, but it was worth the wait!!

He pulled out all the stops tonight and really gave us a brilliant farewell gig. ;D Hightlights to me (besides Kiss) were Lilac Wine and Beautiful on the piano. Just gobsmackingly, deliriously gorgeous. and the tried and true Hallelujah was just divine too.

The s were in fine form too tonight..we had a feeling this was going to be a great night from the moment we walked in. ;D
We were singing along in unison to the background music well before D came out! There were a few of us tonight : Anny, Di, Pam, Princey, Astro, Starsis, gj, Roey, Nixter and moi. The conversation and company was fantastic and then D arrived..in the white shirt with the epallettes and the black tie. That confirmed it..

We hatched a little plan ..after the first song, D asked how we were all doin tonight and the drinks arrived for the band. We all raised shot glasses together (some tequila, some H20 LOL!) and said "Merry Christmas, Damien! Cheers!" He laughed and said "O Oh. The ladies down the front are on the tequila tonight! hmm, well that reminds me of last night"..and told the story, introducing Raymond and Indi. It worked in beautifully!

Lots of manly DLove in the audience again tonight too and a lovely 84 yr old lady who said she was lucky enough to get D for a birthday present. We wish!

It was wonderful of D to let us all say goodbye and give him his Christmas present. He's very tired after such a hectic time so we really appreciated the gesture. We tried not to hold him up too long.

Night night anyone about. One very content and signing off.
