Wrong way round Roxy??
On is when you haven't read it, off is when you have.
Like the normal ones. Blue is on and grey/brown is off.
EDIT: Well, unless you think it looks better this way.
I just thought it would work better the other way, cos everyone is used to the coloured one being when you haven't read the thread.

What? I have no idea what you two are talking about...... You know our little icons that are on the side of the page. The ones that let you know if you've read a thread or not. We added Santa hats at Christmas, and now we have Shamrocks. ;D Nice touch.

You click on the sections that have new posts, and then you click on the "new" button for the threads that have them, and it takes you straight to the posts you haven't read yet.

Because I read everything anyway. I've just never used them. In fact I'll go so far as saying I really don't like them, I only like the look of the Santa hats and now our clovers, ;D so I see them as a decoration.

But if they're white that means you've already read everything. If it's orange that means you haven't. We could make the default ones these with the little dots: and then just change them for Christmas and St Pats day. Ooh and at Easter we could have 2 different coloured Easter eggs! Let's have a graphics comp for the icons! Lol now I'm all excited about tiny little icons. ;D

Yeah, we could have this one for (not read) and this one for (read ones) a boy and a girl one! A poll would be great....maybe we could get everyone making some so that we can use them

Ah, thanks for the explanation. And Roxy, they are most convenient, it means you don't miss anything but don't have to re-read stuff trying to find out where you were up to.

Yeah I know, but I just have a habit of looking at dates rather than those ugly icons. Maybe if we have new ones, it would be more appealing to me. It's just me...I'm weird like that.

well done Smiley, the St Pat's Banner is gorgeous and I love the new skin! Spud, great work there with the shamrocks! Yeah, we could have this one for (not read) and this one for (read ones) a boy and a girl one! A poll would be great....maybe we could get everyone making some so that we can use them I love that idea Roxy, these two would be great I find those little things so helpful, they just take me straight to where there are new posts but I never knew what they did either until a few months back when someone mentioned what they were for, now I find they are so convenient!

Very nice work on the skin and banner Roxy and Smiley Considering he's over there right now it's fitting to have the flag too Great to see the St Pat's siggies floating around too. The button changes are a good idea - I learnt last year about the "new" button-thingies that bring up the actual new posts of a thread... but not those ones for a whole section. Thanks!
